I've been using this for about 3 months, and I love how well it holds my hair in place. Unlike wax or hairspray, it provides a natural-looking hold, which I really appreciate. If you have an oily scalp, using this for extended periods might make your hair look excessively greasy. The Grooming Tonic has a vanilla scent, while the Hair Tonic has a refreshing fragrance. I chose this grooming tonic over others solely based on its scent. The others, frankly, smell quite off-putting. I can confidently say this fragrance is universally appealing compared to other products. It also does a great job taming frizzy hair. As someone with extremely flat hair that's usually difficult to style, I bought this hoping for better hold. However, the styling power isn't significantly better than using nothing at all. It's only marginally better than not using any product. I'm using it mainly as a heat protectant on days I use a hair dryer or straightener. This might work better for those with naturally voluminous hair or thicker strands. Apply after towel-drying your hair.
