  The absorbs well and is relatively gentle for a retinol product. Of course, if you're new to retinol, it's best to start with small amounts and gradually build up tolerance. It makes your skin texture soft and supple. This has become a staple in my routine, and I'm on my umpteenth bottle.

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product while using it. It's a satisfying product overall.

  Tip

  Use retinol products only in the evening, and when starting out, allow a 1-2 week adjustment period beginning with a tiny amount.

  Pros

  I only used it in the evening and made sure to apply sunscreen during the day without fail. After about two days of use, I woke up the next morning to find my skin slightly rough, and I noticed two small blemishes in my butterfly zone, which I rarely get. From the third day onwards, my face became smoother and started to glow. People around me even asked what I'd done to my skin! Among retinol products, this one is gentle and absorbs incredibly well (I guess the first couple of days were just an adjustment period). It didn't clump, feel heavy, or get sticky at all. I tried using it with the cream that came with it, but it felt a bit dry for me. So, I applied a layer of barrier cream afterwards, and my skin stayed hydrated until morning. The texture is so nice that I'm planning to switch to this product permanently if it continues to work well with consistent use.

  I think the first couple of days were just an adjustment period. After using it for a few days, I didn't notice any blemishes or roughness on my face.

  This product completely eased my concerns about retinol. I experienced no blemishes or irritation. Instead, my skin became unbelievably smooth, and it even took care of my nose pores, reducing sebum production.

  Cons

  Since the brand is known for makeup, I've used their high-performance products rather than regular skincare, which makes me a bit skeptical about their reliability... I wish they would promote this more.

  Pros

  It feels like it smoothly coats the skin and absorbs quickly due to its lightweight formula. With continued use, I felt like it was filling in my skin's imperfections.

  Cons

  As someone with sensitive skin, I applied a pea-sized amount to three areas, but it started stinging after about 5 minutes. I think it's because of the high concentration. It also made my face turn red. Additionally, as a Hwahae user, I was a bit disappointed with the ingredients list.

  Tip

  You might want to apply it sparingly, about the size of a pea! I found it works better when followed by a generous layer of moisturizer.
