It's just like the classic Vaseline we all know - same benefits, same texture, same container. Perfect for applying anywhere you need it. No real downsides. The price is reasonable for the amount you get, but after using it for a while, I wonder if it's worth just buying regular Vaseline for the same effectiveness. - bb*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 6, 2024
It has minimal scent and feels lighter than regular Vaseline, making it suitable for daily use without feeling heavy. It's great as a hand cream alternative and versatile enough for multiple uses. I don't find any particular drawbacks. It seems like a product that would suit anyone. It's likely to work well as a substitute for lip balm, hand cream, or even as an eye cream. - an*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 9, 2024
The photo shows a large size. It has a better scent than Vaseline and absorbs well on the skin. The container is a bit disappointing. After opening and closing it a few times, the connected part weakened and tore. It seems a different design is needed. - po******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsSep 24, 2024
It keeps your skin hydrated until morning. Helps maintain moisture levels after moisturizing. It can feel sticky and greasy. In dusty environments, it seems to attract particles that may cause allergic reactions. It's best used as a final moisturizing step in a very clean environment. It's also great for dry areas like soles of feet and elbows. - tp******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 12, 2024
As a multi-purpose balm, it's great for applying to various areas like lips, nails, and face It seems less effective compared to products designed for specific uses - ys*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 1, 2024
It's softer and more moisturizing than regular petroleum jelly. I love how it absorbs well into the skin without feeling sticky when applied to the body. The jar packaging makes it a bit inconvenient to apply with a spatula. - ri********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 27, 2024
I heard balm-type products are good for dry lips or body, but I was worried before using this since Vaseline didn't quite work for me. However, it turned out to be excellent without causing any blemishes. I bought the small size but regretted not getting the larger one. Neither size comes with a spatula, so I used a cotton swab to apply it. I mainly used it on my lips and cuticles every night. When I apply it generously on my lips before bed, in the morning, the dead skin cells are softened. I press a toner pad or cotton pad dampened with water for about 15 seconds, then wipe it off. The dead skin cells come off gently, leaving no flakes and finishing with a moisturized feel. I loved that I hardly felt any dryness throughout the day. Even when applied to cuticles and other dry areas, it absorbs quickly and prevents issues like hangnails. It's a product that's great to use all year round. If you buy the large container, it can easily last for a year. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. While Vaseline sometimes caused blemishes around my lip line, this product didn't cause any irritation at all. - no************Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 26, 2024
My child's ears kept getting chapped, and regular creams weren't cutting it, so I needed an ointment or balm. I was hesitant to use Vaseline on the broken skin, so I searched for alternatives and found this. When my child's ears are chapped, I apply medication first, and once it's somewhat healed, I continue with this balm. With consistent application, the ears don't chap again - it must provide excellent hydration. At first, my child was reluctant to apply it, but after seeing the ears chap again, now they diligently apply it morning and night on their own! I have a nut allergy, and when this product touches my hands, my fingers swell up. If you have allergies, please make sure to do a patch test before using! - ny*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 13, 2024
Since I do dishes often, my hands tend to crack. But when I apply a generous amount after finishing work and washing up before bed, I notice my hands are less prone to cracking the following month. However, if you apply too much, it seems you need to massage it in thoroughly to ensure it absorbs well. For those with allergies, it might be beneficial to mix in some separately purchased aromatherapy oils and apply it under the nose before sleeping. - il*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 10, 2024
I've been using this as a lip balm substitute. My face is oily, but my body isn't quite dry - just lacking a bit of moisture. So I occasionally apply it to my body too. It's called Nutcerin, but judging by its formula and price, it's not a Vaseline substitute. Vaseline has its own path, and this product has its own unique approach. From my personal experience, while Vaseline feels thick and sticky, creating a protective layer on the skin, this product feels more like applying a moisturizing oil in a convenient balm form. The hydration is really impressive. It's exactly the level of moisture I've been looking for. If you find body oils too light and wish they were less runny, you might really enjoy this product. The absorption isn't the best. As mentioned on the official website, you can feel small granules in the product. It doesn't melt quickly upon application either. They explain it's due to the beeswax. While the beeswax seems to boost the moisturizing power, the texture leaves something to be desired. My mom bought it initially but found these granules uncomfortable and passed it on to me. I don't find it too bothersome, but some people might find it a bit annoying to use.
