I was drawn to buy this because of the good scent reviews. It has a mild acidic feel, so it's gentle on the scalp without irritation. Overall, it's a decent, inoffensive product. There's no particular issue with it. However, I'm not sure if the scent is actually good... It's not bad, but there's hardly any fragrance at all. Maybe the slightly old-fashioned packaging is its charm? Haha! It's recommended to flip your hair upside down when washing. Use a comb to gently brush through your scalp while shampooing. - dm******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedOct 17, 2024
The pleasant scent was delightful, and it gave me a hopeful feeling that it might help with hair loss. The product size is small and seems more like a sample. To write a proper review, I'd need to use it for a few months to see if there's any improvement in hair loss. I've only used it for about a week, and haven't noticed any effects yet. - wb****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 15, 2024
The scent is pleasant, and it lathers up nicely considering the amount used. The foam is quite soft, but it does leave the hair feeling a bit stiff, so using a conditioner afterwards is a must. After rinsing, the hair feels slightly rigid... Other than that, there's nothing to complain about. - tk*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJun 18, 2024
I've used it twice so far, and first of all, I love the scent. The lather is rich and luxurious. My hair usually requires a treatment after washing, but with this, it doesn't feel too rough even without using a conditioner. After just two uses, I can't tell if it's effective for hair loss prevention. I think I'll need to use it for a longer period to really know. - al**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 29, 2024
Scalp type: Oily, Sensitive I tried a sample of this shampoo after seeing many reviews praising its scent. Compared to regular shampoos, it has a richer texture with a sweet floral fragrance. This seems to contribute to its abundant lather, and the pleasant aroma made the entire shampooing experience enjoyable! I loved that the subtle scent lingered even after drying my hair. Despite my extremely sensitive scalp due to frequent root coloring, which often leads to dead skin cells when products don't suit me, I used this without any such issues! The sample size is generous - enough for about 4-5 washes for medium-length hair. While the ingredients list could be improved, it didn't cause any irritation for me personally. However, if you have a more sensitive scalp than mine, you might want to consider using it cautiously. The sample size is perfect for travel! Thanks to this, I was able to use it comfortably during my trip to Jeju Island. - Hwahae UserOily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 26, 2024
The floral scent was absolutely delightful. Before, my hair would start getting greasy within half a day after washing, but with this toad oil shampoo, it stayed fresh for over a day. Wow, that's incredible! After using the shampoo, my hair feels a bit stiff. Hmm... it's kind of dry and rough? You might need to apply some hair essence afterward. - tj**********Normal SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 7, 2024
I hope this helps with my hair loss concerns. I wish the bottle was a bit larger. I'll need to use it more to really tell how well it works. - je*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 6, 2024
The shampoo applies smoothly and lathers up nicely. After using it, my scalp doesn't get oily. This is my review after 3 days of use. I have a small wish that the fragrance would last longer. I tend to be particular about the scent after shampooing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 4, 2023
I wasn't dealing with hair loss, but after moving, the change in water quality affected my scalp. Even though I kept using the same shampoo, my hair felt less fluffy, and I started experiencing an itchy scalp. That's when I decided to look for a shampoo that could care for my scalp, which led me to try a sample of the Toad Shampoo...! First off, while 50ml might seem small, it was actually quite generous for a sample size. (I have long hair that covers more than half of my back, and I still got 6 uses out of it thanks to how well it lathers!) I also loved its texture, which was a bit more rich than regular shampoos. Most importantly...!! I immediately noticed how it cared for my scalp. After just one use, I regained that lost fluffiness and my scalp felt healthier. This shampoo even eliminated my scalp itchiness, which I'm so grateful for... I think I'll definitely switch to the Toad Horse Oil Shampoo once I finish my current one. I've even recommended it to my parents! For those of you on the fence, I highly recommend trying out a sample :~) I can't really think of any downsides... I personally loved the fragrance, but if you're not a fan of floral scents, it might not be for you. It lathers so well that you don't need to use as much as you would with other shampoos! - t0**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2023
I tried a sample and loved the scent so much that I bought the full size! Just a small amount creates such a rich lather - it's wonderful. Oh... I have to say, the price is quite steep. And they rarely offer discounts too... I leave it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. This seems to make the fragrance last longer.
