Perfect as a cool-toned base lip color! The shade is pretty on its own, but it tends to fade over time... so it's best used as a base. It has a thick consistency, but when applied to the lips, it feels powdery yet moisturizing, which I found quite nice. The staying power doesn't seem particularly impressive. Also, it develops a bit of a 'yogurt effect' (separation), which is somewhat disappointing. The texture is so fascinating! It's definitely matte, but it feels comfortable on the lips and doesn't emphasize dead skin cells. When Peripera's Airy came out, I tried it and it was so harsh it practically peeled my lips, so I've been avoiding matte lipsticks ever since. But I casually tried this one at Olive Young and was pleasantly surprised! I bought the shades 'Hazy' and 'Kissy' - Hazy is a mauve-tinted pink, while Kissy is a red with a hint of orange, giving off slight autumn vibes. The colors are quite pigmented and not the light shades I usually go for, which is a bit of a shame. However, the application feels so nice that I'm enjoying applying it lightly for a softer look. I'm curious to try other shades too! The shades tend to be on the darker side, so it would be great if they came out with more bright color options.

When blending, it's like a formula that melts smoothly into the skin... But it's not drying at all! It's a really unique texture! Color: It's a muted pink-mauve, but when applied to the lips, the color appears more intense due to your natural lip color! Staining: It's not without staining, but rather leaves a bit of a tint. First off, I wish the color on my lips matched the swatch on my wrist, but it turned out darker, which was disappointing. Secondly, after some time... the dreaded 'yogurt effect' appears on the inner part of the lips. Sigh... It made me less inclined to reach for it.
