The scent is a delightful blend of coconut with a hint of pineapple. It's not overpowering, but rather subtly diffuses, making you smell naturally good instead of artificially perfumed. I've even received compliments from people around me about how nice my hair smells after using it. As for oiliness, I've always loved fragrant shampoos and have tried various brands like Mi**en. However, I often found that shampoos focusing on fragrance and other features tended to leave my hair greasy. This shampoo, on the other hand, not only smells great but also keeps my hair from getting flat all day! While it did start to flatten on the second day, for someone like me who usually experiences flat hair by evening after a morning wash, this was an incredible improvement!
ConsThe main drawback is definitely the price. While it's a shampoo with a lovely fragrance and great oil control, I'm not sure if its performance justifies the 40,000 won price tag. Perhaps it's because I've never used such an expensive shampoo before, but I can't shake the feeling that it's quite pricey for a shampoo. Additionally, I didn't see significant improvements for my seborrheic dermatitis. While it didn't worsen the condition, I can't say it had a notably positive effect either.

It lathers up similarly to regular shampoos, but I felt it was gentler on my scalp. It seemed to cause less irritation - maybe I should say it was less itchy? I have an oily scalp that's prone to blemishes occasionally.
ConsAs soon as you open it, there's a strong coconut oil scent that might be hit or miss for some people. I couldn't detect any pineapple scent at all. It's currently listed at 48,000 won with a 20% discount, but honestly, at that price point, I'd be more inclined to go for an Aveda product instead.

I've updated this after using the product for over a month. First, the scent is a mix of pineapple and coconut - it's a unique blend of fresh and warm notes. It reminds me a bit of Fanta Pineapple. It's not your typical soapy or shampoo fragrance, which I actually prefer because of its uniqueness. Personally, scents don't usually linger in my hair, but this shampoo left a subtle coconut aroma that lasted for a long time. It's not overpowering or cheap-smelling that could cause headaches. As the name 'Oil-less Scalp' suggests, I recommend this for those with oily hair. It lathers well, and like most shampoos for oily hair, it leaves your hair feeling clean rather than soft after rinsing. However, it's not overly stripping - it just removes excess oil effectively. For a softer finish, I'd still recommend using a conditioner! The best part is how well it controls scalp odor. Even 24 hours after washing, there's barely any smell - which is quite rare for oily hair types! I've tried various oily hair shampoos, including the famous hair vinegar, but this one controls odor the best. You don't even need to double shampoo! This is what I'm most satisfied with. It's not always easy to find the right product, but I'm satisfied in many ways and would repurchase.
ConsI wish it was a bit more affordable! I'd love to make this my go-to shampoo. Also, when I used it daily, I noticed some blemishes on my scalp, possibly due to dryness. So now I use it once or twice a week as a deep cleanse for excess oil rather than daily.

Fragrance longevity: Even after shampooing and drying your hair, the scent lingers quite nicely! I find myself constantly wanting to smell my hair... Cleansing effectiveness: Being a vegan shampoo, it seems to lather a bit less than regular shampoos. However, after washing and rinsing, your hair feels squeaky clean and refreshed. Just because it doesn't lather as much as conventional shampoos doesn't mean its cleansing power is lacking! As it's already recommended for those with dandruff or oily scalps, I feel like people with these concerns would be particularly satisfied. The cleansing power is not bad at all, and even after being out all day after washing my hair, I didn't feel like it got greasy. (Note: I don't typically have an oily scalp.)
ConsWhile the scent might not be polarizing, the coconut fragrance is stronger than you might expect, so just keep that in mind. Also, the price point is a bit high!

Scent: If you're not a fan of coconut, I wouldn't recommend this as the coconut scent is quite strong! Personally, I don't mind it too much, and it didn't give me a headache, so it was fine for me. 2. Cleansing effectiveness: I usually have to shampoo twice to feel like my extremely oily scalp is clean. When used daily, this shampoo lathers well, and although one wash isn't quite enough, it does an okay job when I'm in a hurry. However, if I skip a day, the lather dies down too quickly with just one wash. You need at least two washes to feel like you've shampooed properly. While it's good for oily scalps, it doesn't completely control oil production. 3. Other notes: I was surprised at how soft my hair became. Usually, shampoos for oily hair can make your hair feel quite stiff, but this one left my hair feeling quite soft and moisturized.
ConsThe scent is a bit strong, and there are too many potentially allergenic ingredients, unfortunately.

As I've gotten older, I've become more sensitive to strong scents, but this one isn't overpowering or artificial, making it perfect for daily use. Lather - It quickly works up a rich lather with just a bit of rubbing, making it easy to wash even long hair that reaches down to the chest. Cleansing effectiveness - After rinsing, you can feel that squeaky-clean sensation as you wring out your hair, leaving you feeling refreshed and confident that your hair is truly clean. Oil control - I typically struggle with dryness all over, including dry eyes, but paradoxically have oily skin and scalp. This shampoo does a great job controlling excess oil! Previously, I'd feel my scalp getting a bit greasy by lunchtime after washing at night, but with this shampoo, my hair stays fresh until evening. The best part is that it doesn't strip all the moisture away - my hair ends still feel soft for a long time. This is what I'm most satisfied with! Say goodbye to scalp blemishes and sebum buildup. I also notice much less of an odor from my crown area.
ConsIt's a bit inconvenient that it's not a pump bottle, especially when washing long hair - you have to flip the bottle multiple times to get enough product out. However, the smaller size makes it suitable for taking to the gym or sauna.

The scent is reminiscent of a piña colada - a blend of coconut with a hint of pineapple. I can still catch whiffs of it during the day, so the fragrance seems to have good staying power. Although it's for oily hair, it doesn't leave my hair feeling stripped. Even when I'm in a rush and skip conditioner, I had no problems rinsing it out. With other shampoos for oily hair, my scalp can get greasy by evening, but with this one, it was still decent the next morning! (Not fresh enough to go out, but still...)
ConsWhile there's nothing specifically disappointing, it's not exceptional enough to replace my other shampoos. As someone with fine hair, I found it didn't provide much in terms of volume.
TipAll of you with oily scalps probably already do this, but here's a tip: thoroughly wet your scalp, use a small amount for a pre-wash, rinse, then shampoo again and leave it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing.

After using it for about a week, I noticed my hair is less oily. The reduced greasiness seems to have improved the volume around my scalp area too. The bottle is 350ml and has a coconut scent. Since it's not a pump-type bottle, it'll be easy to use up to the last drop.
ConsI can't think of any particular downsides, but the shampoo scent doesn't seem to last very long. Personally, I'm not a big fan of coconut scent... Also, like other functional shampoos, the quantity is much less compared to what you'd buy at a supermarket, so it might run out quickly.
TipSince it's a shampoo that controls oiliness, I'm using it with a scalp brush to ensure my scalp gets thoroughly cleansed.

Fragrance: The most distinctive feature of this product is its scent, so I'll start there. It's a harmonious blend of pineapple and coconut, with neither overpowering the other. The fragrance has a cool, refreshing quality that's perfect for summer. While I'm not usually a fan of coconut scents, I found myself reaching for this often due to how well it pairs with the pineapple. Even my parents commented on how pleasant it smells. The scent lasts impressively long too - I could still detect a subtle fragrance the afternoon after shampooing the night before. 2. Effectiveness for oily scalps: To test this, I reduced my usual twice-daily hair washing to once in the evening. The shampoo did an excellent job controlling oil, leaving my hair feeling fresh and grease-free well into the next afternoon. The only downside is the slightly stiff feeling typical of clarifying shampoos. It also effectively combats scalp odor caused by excess oil and heat. Even with just one wash a day, I didn't have to worry about any unpleasant smells from my scalp. 3. Lather: For my shoulder-length hair, just two pumps were enough to create a rich lather. I appreciated not having to use a lot of product to effectively cleanse and control oil. 4. Texture: The texture is fairly standard for a shampoo. It has a good consistency that doesn't run, making it easy to work into a lather quickly.
ConsWhile I enjoyed it, the coconut scent might be polarizing for some. The biggest drawback is definitely the price...

Scent: The coconut fragrance is strong (very similar to the Malibu scent) and long-lasting. I love coconut scents, so it gives me a cozy feeling when I smell it. Freshness: I have an extremely oily scalp, so I usually have to wash my hair every morning. For testing purposes, I washed my hair on a weekend evening, and the next morning there was absolutely no greasiness or oily smell. Highly recommended for evening washes. Being able to wash at night is a huge advantage. Of course, there might be differences between winter and summer use! Lather: It produces a rich lather even with just a small amount, which is great.
ConsRoom for improvement: When you're in a hurry, opening and closing the cap can be a bit annoying. It would be more practical if it came with a pump dispenser. Also, the price is quite high for the amount you get...
