I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and had the chance to try this product! This brand is not very well-known in Korea, but I found out that it's a famous shampoo brand in the UK. It seems like it's not widely available in Korea yet. The shampoo I received is the 'Oil-Less Scalp' type, which is said to be effective in removing scalp sebum. To share my review: 🍀Cleansing Power: It lathers up really well and rinses off cleanly. Unlike regular shampoos, when you rinse it all out, it feels a bit dense. It really feels like it's stripping away all the oil! 🍀Fragrance: I liked the mild coconut + floral musk scent, it's not overpowering. 🍀Lasting Effect: Since it removes scalp sebum so effectively, my hair doesn't get greasy as quickly... (This is very important!) TMI, but normally my hair starts looking oily by the second day, but with this shampoo, it still looked fine on the second day. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product!
Cons
The price is quite high compared to the amount, and it's still quite difficult to find this product in Korea.

The biggest advantage of this shampoo, in my opinion, is the fragrance. • Fragrance: It has a coconut and slightly pineapple-like scent that is not overpowering and diffuses gently, making you feel like a naturally good-smelling person rather than someone who has sprayed on artificial perfume. I've received compliments from those around me about the nice smell of my hair after using this shampoo. • Oil content: I enjoy fragrant shampoos and have tried various shampoos with artificial scents before. I've always found that shampoos focused on fragrance and other functions tend to leave my hair feeling oily. However, this shampoo not only smells great but also doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy all day! Even on the second day, my hair would get a bit oily, but rinsing it in the morning would keep it fresh until the evening, which was a great effect for me!!
Cons
The biggest disappointment seems to be the price. While the fragrance is great and the shampoo is excellent at controlling oil, the performance doesn't quite match the high price tag of over 40,000 won. Maybe it's because I've never used such an expensive shampoo before, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the price is quite steep for a shampoo. Also, I didn't see much effect on my seborrheic dermatitis. It didn't get worse, but I'm not sure if it actually improved either...

This is a semi-transparent shampoo with a coconut oil scent and a slightly runny texture. The lather is similar to regular shampoos, and it seemed to be less irritating to the scalp. It was a bit less itchy, I suppose? Since my scalp tends to be oily, I sometimes get breakouts.
Cons
As soon as you open it, the strong coconut oil scent is apparent, which may be divisive. I have no idea about the pineapple scent... It's currently listed at a 20% discounted price of 48,000 won, but honestly, I'd rather buy an Aveda product than this at that price.

Hwahae Trial Reviewers write reviews 100% honestly! *I will update the content after using it for more than a month* First, the fragrance is a mix of pineapple+coconut, giving a slightly unique feeling with a combination of freshness and warmth. It reminds me of Peng Li Shu... It's not the typical soap or shampoo fragrance, but I actually like the uniqueness. Personally, I find that hair fragrances don't last long on me, but this shampoo left a subtle coconut scent for a long time. It's not overpowering or headache-inducing. As the name 'Oily Scalp' suggests, I'd recommend this to those with oily scalps. First of all, it lathers up really well, and like most shampoos for oily hair, the hair feels a bit stiff after rinsing, but not excessively so. It just gives a clean, oil-free feeling. However, I'd still recommend using a conditioner for a smoother finish! The best part is that it really controls the oily scalp odor. Even 24 hours after washing, the smell is barely noticeable - which is quite rare for those with oily scalps, as you know. I've tried the famous vinegar rinse and various shampoos for oily hair, but this one controls the odor the best. You may not even need a pre-wash shampoo! It's not easy to find the right product, but I'm very satisfied in multiple ways and plan to repurchase!
Cons
I wish the price was a little cheaper! 😢 I really want to settle down here. And when I used it every day, I think because it was drying, I got a few pimples on my scalp. So I'm not using it every day now, but using it once or twice a week to clean the excess oil.

- No matter how thoroughly you wash your hair, you can't escape the smell of your scalp? - Does your oily scalp get greasy again right after you wash your hair every morning? - Are you looking for a shampoo that can thoroughly remove scalp oil while keeping your hair soft and smooth? - Are you looking for a shampoo with a pleasant scent that doesn't have any strong likes or dislikes? If that sounds like you, then you should definitely try this product... I used to get stressed out because my scalp would still have an unpleasant odor no matter how thoroughly I washed my hair, but after using this product, I realized that a sweet coconut scent can come from my scalp! And the scent lasts for at least a day! I initially thought the mint-colored product with 'oil scalp' in the name would have a refreshing mint scent, but when I opened it, I was surprised to find a sweet coconut fragrance. It's quite unusual and fascinating how the sweet scent lingers in my hair and completely eliminates the scalp odor. It's also incredibly effective at making my oily scalp feel clean and refreshed. I was amazed at how soft and smooth my hair felt after washing and drying it. Almost all the oil scalp shampoos I've tried before effectively removed the oil, but they also stripped away the moisture and vitality from my hair, leaving it feeling stiff. This is a whole new world.
Cons
There are absolutely no downsides for me. I would be willing to purchase this product for the rest of my life if a larger size was available.

Fragrance: The coconut fragrance is very strong right after opening, and this fragrance was personally quite favorable for me! Fragrance Longevity: Even after shampooing and drying my hair, the fragrance remains quite strong. I find myself constantly smelling the nice scent in my hair.. Cleansing Power: As a vegan shampoo, it seems to produce a bit less lather than regular shampoos. However, after shampooing and rinsing, my hair feels clean and refreshed.. The amount of lather may be less than regular shampoos, but the cleansing power doesn't seem to be lacking. As it's already recommended for those with dandruff or oily scalp, I feel those groups would be quite satisfied using this. The cleansing power is not bad, and even after being out all day after shampooing, I didn't feel like my hair got weighed down. (I don't normally have an oily scalp.)
Cons
The fragrance may not be polarizing, but the coconut scent is stronger than expected, so just be mindful of that. And the price point is a bit high!

*I am a woman in my 20s with seborrheic dermatitis and long hair* I usually thought I had oily skin, but for some reason, my scalp dandruff has been incredibly severe lately. So I'm wondering if I'm not oily, but dry instead. The amount of scalp dandruff is such that when I brush my hair, the scalp dandruff really piles up on the floor (not exaggerating). And my hair is also falling out a lot... So in the midst of this dilemma, I was so happy to receive this product, and I'm writing this review with that happy heart. 👍Pros 1. It contains glycerin and sodium PCA, which guarantee powerful moisturizing! I think the people using this product, as well as those searching for it out of curiosity, are probably doing so because of oily hair and scalp dandruff, and in such cases, moisturizing is very important. 2. The shampoo scent lasts a very long time. The lasting scent also seems to mask any scalp odor, which is nice. 3. The lather is well-formed, so even with long hair, less shampoo is needed compared to other products (I usually use the shampoo about 4-5 times for my hair length).
Cons
👎Cons 1. As mentioned in the product description, it has a pineapple and coconut scent, and while I'm not very sensitive to scents and it didn't bother me much, the fragrance part is something that can be quite different for each person, so those who dislike it may be present. 2. It contains citric acid and citric acid, which are included in the Hwahae app's list of ingredients not recommended for sensitive skin. So at high concentrations, it can cause skin irritation. For those with sensitive skin, since each ingredient can be sensitive for some people, please take note. 3. No matter how functional the shampoo is and how famous it is in the UK, the price range is way too expensive. The original price on N site is 60,000 won, and it's 57,000 won after a 5% discount. Even though the functionality is outstanding, I wonder how many people would casually spend 57,000 won on a shampoo...
Tip
⭐️Tip⭐️ After lathering the shampoo well, leave the lather on your hair for a little while before rinsing it off!!!! Doing this allows the lather and shampoo ingredients to loosen the scalp dandruff, making it fall off more easily and leaving your hair cleaner.

⭐️Scalp Type: Oily ⭐️Hair Style: Short ⭐️Previous Shampoo: Aromatica Rosemary Shampoo My scalp and hair type is the kind that gets oily and greasy on the bangs and sides even after thoroughly washing in the morning. I've tried many shampoos for oily hair, but it's been difficult to find an effective product. After searching for a good shampoo for oily hair, I tried the Hairburst Oily Scalp Shampoo for a week through the Hwahae Trial Reviewer event. First, the key features of this shampoo are: ✨Hairburst Oily Scalp Shampoo Features #Oily Hair #Problematic Scalp #Dandruff It's said to deeply absorb into the scalp with its low-molecular ingredients, creating a refreshed scalp and hair. Now let me share my review after using it: 🫧Texture A typical shampoo texture, not too watery or thick 🫧Fragrance Sweet coconut scent 👉🏻This is very appealing! The fragrance lingered well after shampooing 🫧Lather Produces sufficient lather even with a small amount 🫧Volume 350ml, which is relatively small for a shampoo 🫧Packaging Twist-open type, not a pump bottle which is a bit inconvenient 🫧Price Quite expensive considering the volume 👉🏻Overall Compared to other shampoos, this one was more effective for my oily scalp and greasy hair, so I was satisfied. There was a slightly stiff feeling after shampooing, but using a conditioner resolved that, and the sweet coconut scent made me feel good every time I used it.
Cons
While there are many positives, the biggest downside is that the price-to-volume ratio is not very good value. I want to use this shampoo because it works well, but the high price makes me hesitate.
Tip
If you use too much shampoo, the lather can become excessive, so use an appropriate amount.

<Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review:)> 1. Fragrance: If you dislike coconut fragrance, I would not recommend this as the coconut scent is quite strong. Personally, I did not strongly dislike it, and it did not give me a headache. 2. Cleansing Power: I usually need to shampoo twice to feel like my scalp is properly cleansed, as I have an extremely oily scalp. When I used this daily, the lather was plentiful and one shampoo was mostly sufficient, though not completely. However, if I skipped a day, the lather died down quickly with just one shampoo, and I really needed to do it twice to feel properly cleansed. It does a decent job of removing oil, but doesn't give a completely oil-free feeling. 3. Other: I was pleasantly surprised that my hair felt surprisingly soft and smooth. Normally, oily hair shampoos can make hair feel quite stiff, but this one left my hair feeling quite soft and moisturized.
Cons
The fragrance is a bit strong, and there are too many allergy-causing ingredients in it.

The scent - The refreshing scent is about 4:6 ratio of sweet to mild, so it's not overbearing and feels natural. As I've gotten older, I've developed an aversion to strong scents, but this one isn't overpowering or artificial, so it's good for daily use. The lather - The lather lathers up quickly and easily when massaged into the hands, and it covers my entire long hair well without taking too long to rinse out. Cleansing power - After rinsing thoroughly and squeezing out the water, I feel a satisfying squeaky-clean sensation, giving me a sense of assurance that I'm well-cleansed. Oil control - I normally have very dry skin and eyes, but even with that, my scalp tends to be quite oily. But with this shampoo, I feel it does a good job of controlling the oil. Whereas before I would feel my scalp getting greasy again by lunchtime the next day after washing my hair at night, now it stays fresh-looking until the evening. But it doesn't strip all the moisture either, leaving my hair ends still soft and smooth.
Cons
Since it's not a pump bottle, it's a bit inconvenient to use for long hair, having to flip it over and squeeze it out. But the small size makes it good for bringing along when going to the gym or sauna.
