It glides on effortlessly, adheres perfectly, and leaves a glossy finish - I'm in love with the formula! As someone with dry lips, this texture doesn't accentuate dead skin cells, which is so satisfying. It's the perfect MLBB or base lip color for winter cool tones. Finding a good base lip for cool winter tones can be challenging, but this one is spot-on! I bought it because it's a favorite of Aespa's Winter, who's known for her cool winter complexion, and it's truly a perfect match. The scent is subtle, and it doesn't cause any blemishes or issues. I'm using it as a healthy lip product since it lacks the typical Yves Saint Laurent fragrance and doesn't cause any itching or dryness.
ConsIt fades quickly - the color disappears so fast, it's like your lips vanish with it! There's no staining effect, so I use it knowing it's for a nude look. Oddly, when drinking coffee, the lipstick's scent mingles with the beverage, which can be a bit off-putting. However, I overlook this because it's a rare cool-toned base lip color.
TipTry layering it over Too Cool For School's Moondust in grape color. Unlike other base lips, applying this over Moondust and focusing on the inner lips creates a softer, more appealing look. On its own, it can appear a bit flat and sickly, but when used with intense, glossy tints, it covers the non-staining issue and looks even better. It's nude yet has a lovely purple tint that I adore! Photos 3-4 show just Nu Encongruent alone, while photo 2 shows it layered over Moondust - you can really see the difference!
