Purchased from duty-free in February 2025, used it for a while but stopped as it didn't suit my skin type Leaves mascara residue. Daily use can be irritating and causes a tingling sensation on the skin. It's a bit stiff when trying to roll it on in its oil state before adding water - do********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2025
I tried the sample and it was good, so I bought the actual product. Overall, I'm satisfied with it. I use it because there is no significant irritation and no breakouts. - mi********Combination SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 18, 2025
I tried the Hwahae cleansing foam that was given as a gift with another cleansing product, and I found the cleansing power to be excellent, with a moisturizing finish that I really enjoyed!!! I had left it unused for a few months, but now that I'm using it, I'm so pleased that it has both great cleansing power and moisturizing properties..... It says "Oil to Foam"? I thought it would remove makeup like a cleansing oil, but that's not the case! Other than that, as a foaming cleanser, the cleansing power is good. - ly********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2025
It's convenient and effective, allowing you to cleanse your entire face in one go There's not much to dislike. The scent is pleasant, it cleanses well, and doesn't cause any blemishes - ql********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2025
It's an oil-to-foam cleanser that lathers up as soon as you apply it. It removes makeup well when you massage it in. At first, I thought I had to apply oil and then water, but now I've gotten used to it and it's great. It's actually quite convenient. There's no irritation, so I highly recommend it as an excellent product. The downside is that you end up using quite a bit of product. Since it's not an oil but foams up immediately, you need to use more compared to regular oil cleansers to get enough coverage. - wo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 13, 2025
It seems to effectively remove makeup, even for combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes and sensitivity However, ending with just this as the first cleanse leaves me feeling a bit uneasy, though it might just be psychological - so*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
The best oil-to-foam cleanser I've ever tried. It's simply perfect. From the scent to the texture and cleansing effectiveness, there's nothing to fault. I've lost count of how many times I've repurchased this. I have skin that's prone to whiteheads and small bumps, but while using this, my skin condition is truly excellent. Isn't it such a hassle to do both oil and foam cleansing? While you still need a separate remover for point makeup, this cleanser effectively removes base makeup. The finish doesn't leave your skin overly dry or slippery - just clean and balanced. If I had to find a flaw, it would be that it runs out too quickly. Please give us a larger size! - z8********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsMar 25, 2025
There aren't really any notable positives. It does remove facial makeup to some extent. 1. It's marketed as an oil-to-foam cleanser, but honestly, it's just a foam cleanser with a lot of oil. No matter how much you roll it on dry hands, it immediately lathers up white and feels too thick to give the impression of removing makeup with oil. The friction irritates the skin. 2. It doesn't remove mascara. Surprisingly, even non-waterproof, budget-friendly mascara from Daiso wouldn't come off. When I took a sample on a trip, I ended up having to buy a separate makeup remover because nothing would work. I thought it would be as effective as my usual oil cleanser, but I was wrong. 3. It leaves behind a slippery residue. The problem with oil-to-foam cleansers is that you can't tell if it's properly emulsified. It starts as an oil texture but quickly turns into foam when massaged, making it unclear if it's actually emulsified or effectively removing blackheads. It seems to combine the drawbacks of both oil and foam cleansers. I'm unsure if it's cleaning thoroughly. 4. The fragrance is overpowering - it's like a strong floral or 'mom's cosmetics' scent, which might be unpleasant for those sensitive to fragrances. In conclusion: I cannot recommend this product. - kr*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 25, 2025
As someone who only applies sunscreen, I first cleansed with an oil cleanser and then used this product for my second cleanse. It definitely reduces the feeling of tightness on my skin. It keeps my skin hydrated, which seems to work well for me. I think it should be fine to use as directed in the instructions. - do*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMar 18, 2025
I've tried all the large sample sizes since 2024. I'm in my 30s with dry skin. It has a watery texture that flows smoothly and a subtle fragrance. It removes dead skin cells well and rolls off nicely. You need to massage it on your face for a while to remove foundation, lipstick, and mascara. It's convenient because you don't need a separate foam cleanser. The volume is small compared to the price, which leads to a lot of waste. I wish they would release a larger size.
