The middle shade is a perfect match for cool skin tones - it's become a cult favorite! The shimmer is quite pretty too. The shimmer and color payoff could be stronger, and the longevity is a bit lacking. The initial impression doesn't last very long. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 12, 2024
The colors are beautiful, and I love how evenly distributed the shimmer is. It's especially great for highlighting with the lighter shades. I'd definitely recommend this product to makeup beginners like myself. The colors in the top row were a bit muddy, so I didn't use them much. - qh*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2023
Great for daily use and the color payoff is decent. I only pack this when I travel. I've never had my undertones professionally analyzed, but everyone tells me I'm cool-toned, so I gave it a try and it seems to work well. There's a bit of glitter fallout, and when I put it in my bag and ran a little, the pan cracked and fell out completely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2023
As someone who prefers a more natural look, I absolutely loved that the colors don't apply too intensely. Plus, it's so convenient for travel since the palette includes everything - contouring shades, aegyo sal colors, shading, highlighter, and even blush tones all in one! The subtle color payoff might be a bit disappointing for some. It's slightly underwhelming if you're looking to use the darker shades as an eyeliner alternative. - qu*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2023
The perfect muted tone palette for a sophisticated, non-tacky makeup look! It has a slightly grayish undertone, so you need to apply a bright eye base for the colors to show up well - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 15, 2023
Overall, there weren't any shades to discard. The low saturation might be great for those with cool undertones. Unless your face is completely pale, the colors appear muddy when applied. The shades are quite similar to each other. The longevity was disappointing - if you wear this to school, the color almost completely fades away, leaving no trace of application. - ki**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 13, 2023
I decided to try this Wake Make series after hearing good things about it. Although I don't usually suit mauve or muted tones, and warm-toned coral or reddish shadows suit me even less, I gave it a shot! The verdict? 'Wow, for this price... this palette is a steal!' If you have cool-toned skin, you'll likely be able to work with about half the colors in the palette easily. The other half might be a bit tricky, but let's face it - it's rare to find a palette where every single shade works for you. I'd like to give extra points for the abundance of silver pearls. The glitters seemed a bit weak when swatched on the back of my hand, but once applied, they create a subtle, shimmering white/silver pearl effect that really does its job. Considering the price, the texture is surprisingly smooth and the shadows adhere well to the skin. If you can snag it during an Olive Young sale, you're definitely getting more than your money's worth. I'd recommend this to anyone with cool, muted skin tones who wants to experiment with these shades! I wouldn't recommend this for those with dull, grayish complexions. Some of the matte shades are quite muted. Also, I wish Wake Make wouldn't discontinue their products so quickly... - so*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2023
The color palette is absolutely stunning! It's the perfect cool-toned collection, gathering all those beautiful white and gray-tinged shades. You can layer multiple colors without it looking overwhelming, making it ideal for creating subtle, dimensional eye looks. There's a bit of excess powder fallout, and the shimmer shadows seem to apply better with fingers rather than brushes. It's great for recreating makeup looks from YouTube tutorials. Using the shades in horizontal rows as sets creates really pretty combinations. - ar************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2023
As a cool-toned person (overly vibrant or muted tones don't suit me), with light 21 shade skin, I usually create depth with contouring and define my eyes and brows with pencils. Before using this palette, I'd just add subtle, natural shading (without shimmer). The colors are more muted than expected. It's not entirely cool-toned, but rather a slightly grayish shading palette. It's not extremely cool and gray, but natural and nude, perfect for comfortable contouring. The palette has no throwaway shades - all colors are usable and versatile for various looks. The light pink matte pearl and brown shimmer pearl are especially beautiful. The white cool glitter applies with a clean, translucent sparkle. However, it lacks light lavender or truly cool mauve shades. The color range is mostly cool brown to cool dusty rose. It's also a bit disappointing that there's no shade for blending out harsh lines. Texture-wise, there's minimal excess powder, which means the pigmentation isn't too intense and applies naturally. As someone who hates powder fallout and prefers clean, translucent makeup, I really appreciate this aspect. Overall, the color palette is muted. I don't usually go for shimmery or pearly shades, but the shimmer and matte pearls in this palette are so pretty that I use them often. Due to its overall muted tone, I'd recommend this to those with muted complexions. The color selection is comfortable to use with no wasted shades, making it great value for money. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves muted makeup and wants a one-and-done palette! Unfortunately, there's no shade for blending out harsh lines, which I consider crucial. Also, the last color seems too light for my liking. A major advantage of this palette is its versatility - you can create various looks depending on how you combine the colors. The second shade in the bottom row is the coolest gray, which can cool down the overall look when mixed with other shades. The first shade in the bottom row and the first in the middle row are glitter/matte pearl finishes that add a translucent, sparkling effect when applied. The first row consists of basic browns, the second row has muted pinks, and the third row features cool grays to deep browns (this row is the coolest of all). - sb*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2022
I spent quite a long time deliberating before buying this, and now I wonder why I didn't get it sooner! I absolutely love it! Among all my eyeshadow palettes, this is the one I reach for most often. It's so versatile, allowing me to create various looks effortlessly. There's a bit of excess fallout! Also, the color payoff is quite sheer, so you need to build it up gradually. Patience is a must!
