The color payoff is surprisingly good, which I love. It's moisturizing and the shade isn't overwhelming even on bare skin, so I find myself reaching for it often. Since it comes in a jar, you have to scoop it out with your fingers to apply, which isn't very hygienic. It's incredibly hydrating! When applied to the lips, it looks super moisturizing and makes your lips appear beautiful. This product gives off a lot of glow. When used as a cheek tint, it's also pretty - it makes your skin look very dewy and beautiful. I use it often when I'm going for a sheer, natural makeup look! The transparent, subtle color brightens up fair skin with neutral undertones beautifully It comes off easily but feels a bit sticky. It's wonderfully moisturizing and feels great. It's almost like applying a lip balm? I love how it gives a nice glow too. Unfortunately, it comes off immediately when eating, and you can't really count on it for any pigmentation or lasting power.

I bought this Apple Balm out of curiosity after seeing celebrities advertise it. Surprisingly, I got it even though it's not even my favorite color - what was I thinking? On its own, the color payoff is a bit weak. If you apply enough to get the desired shade, it becomes too shiny, but if you apply less, the lip color isn't sufficient. Later, I bought an Oat Lip Stick and applied this over it - perfect match! It's great to layer your desired color over the balm for a glossy finish that adheres well. It gives a natural, healthy glow and applies beautifully. While I was satisfied with the color after just one application, you'll need to apply multiple layers to achieve the vibrant look seen on Instagram. It's moisturizing and the color is like a lip balm, but when you layer it, the pigmentation builds up beautifully. For non-artists, using it with hands without tools is inconvenient as you need to wipe it off with a tissue afterward. It's great to use with the silicone lip brush sold separately. The initial application is always sheer, so make sure to add more in the center of your lips.

To be honest, I bought it because it's the most popular, not caring about the color. But it's perfect for someone with a deep pink undertone like me. When layering over other tints, it sometimes feels like the colors mix and become muddy. So now I just apply this one alone on days when I want to wear it. The staying power is weak and you need a brush. When I'm out and want to apply this, I need the product, the cap, a silicone brush, and a mirror - I don't have enough hands! With regular tints, you just hold the tint and a mirror, and you're done. This is too cumbersome. But the staying power is too weak to use it only at home. This is my holy grail lip balm! The color is natural yet noticeable, and it looks absolutely beautiful on the lips. The jar packaging is a bit inconvenient. I wish they would release a stick version.
