One side is smooth, while the other is textured, which seems perfect for effectively removing dead skin cells! Personally, I found the hydration a bit lacking... Also, the textured side was way too rough, so I ended up not using it much. It's so soothing when you apply it to your face while it's feeling hot. The pads are incredibly large and thick, so they don't dry out quickly. It's perfect for using as a quick mask - just stick it on and go! Their size and thickness also make them great for cleansing your skin. If you use them gently, there's no irritation at all. One side is gauze, which might seem like it would be rough, but if you're gentle, it's not too harsh. The pads are so sturdy and well-made that it almost feels wasteful to throw them away after they dry - they're that good! Because they're so large and thick, they take a long time to dry. While it's nice to leave them on like a mask for the soothing effect, their size and weight make it hard for them to stick properly. They tend to fall off before they're completely dry. The tongs don't have a built-in storage space and are kept outside, so you're guaranteed to lose them. There's no inner lid, just a seal, which is incredibly difficult to remove. The container is large, so the seal is also large, making it really hard to peel off. I really struggled with opening it.

It's so convenient - it's moisturizing and you can quickly wipe your face without needing to soak a cotton pad with toner. It seems to be quite gentle on the skin. Nothing particularly bad. Though it comes with 60 sheets, it would be nice if they offered a larger size with about 100 sheets.
