When first applied, it feels moisturizing, and once fully absorbed, it leaves a refreshing finish. It seems like this could be the final step for oily skin types. Personally, I use this as the last step for my T-zone, while for my U-zone, I follow up with a cream. I haven't experienced any blemishes while using this product. If this is the only product in your skincare routine, the cheeks and chin area may feel tight as time passes. I use a brightening moisturizer with SPF daily, but after a while, I notice pilling and separation. So I can't use it during the day. Instead, I apply this at night followed by a deeply hydrating cream. For combination dehydrated skin, this might not be suitable before makeup application. It seems more appropriate for bare-faced days or as part of a nighttime skincare routine. - fu********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 24, 2024
First off, it absorbs really well and I loved how my skin looked brighter after applying it. When you first use it, you might feel a bit of irritation on your skin. - je*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2024
I love that this moisturizer contains vitamins - it's exactly what I was looking for! I initially received a sample and was impressed by how hydrating it felt. After using it, I woke up feeling like I had a great night's sleep, and my skin looked noticeably better. That's what convinced me to buy the full-size product. Even in winter, I'm using it with complete satisfaction - no dryness or lack of moisture at all! The price is the main drawback... I bought it during a Hwahae sale, which made it somewhat more affordable. But I'd be hesitant to pay full price for it. Please have sales more often! I've heard that retinol works well with vitamins, so I've been mixing a bit of retinol serum with this cream. I'm pleasantly surprised to see my skin's condition improving more than I expected! - pz***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 18, 2024
Hello, this is October speaking! There's an ongoing debate about whether to apply skincare products sparingly or generously. Personally, I think it's a matter of personal style. Shouldn't we just apply products as we see fit? I tend to be quite generous with my skincare routine. After applying a hydrating cream, I follow up with a moisturizing/slow-aging cream to complete my regimen. These days, my go-to nighttime hydrating cream is this one. It's Paula's Choice C5 Super Boost Moisturizer. This cream features stabilized Vitamin C that quickly and easily delivers hydration to the skin. The texture is silky smooth, and as someone with combination skin, I find it neither heavy nor suffocating. This moisturizer strengthens the skin's hydration barrier and provides rapid deep hydration. When I apply it to my skin, I initially feel a slight warmth, but it dissipates within 5-10 seconds. Despite being a Vitamin C cream, it absorbs quickly. At its core, it's a hydrating cream that infuses the skin with a fresh, dewy moisture. To be honest, this is the most pleasant Vitamin C cream I've ever used, so I have absolutely no complaints! - qo****Combination SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2023
This highly concentrated hydrating cream feels so nourishing that after toning, applying just this cream delivers a burst of moisture, leaving your skin noticeably hydrated. Even after sleeping, your skin doesn't feel dry and maintains its moisturized feel. The product truly lives up to its 'Super Boost' name as a hydrating cream - it's incredibly moisturizing! However, it does have a strong scent. If you prefer fragrance-free products, this might not be for you! The pump-type packaging makes it convenient to use, and even a small amount spreads easily, providing ample hydration.
