Among Burt's Bees lip balms, this one is the firmest. At first, I wondered if it might be too hard to apply well, but it absorbs beautifully, making it a truly satisfying lip balm. I was curious about hemp, so I looked it up - it's cannabis! Apparently, it's fine for use in cosmetics. The scent is natural and herbal, not overpowering but pleasantly fragrant. It's a unique aroma I've never encountered in a lip balm before, and I really like it. The staying power is good, and it helps smooth out dead skin cells on the lips. I left this in my car during summer, and it completely melted. It seems it's not very heat-resistant. However, the effectiveness is so good that it didn't affect its use. - lu******Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2024
It feels quite thick when applying, making you wonder if it'll moisturize well. But after application, it leaves your lips feeling hydrated. When used before bed, it prevents dead skin cells from forming on your lips, which is great. The herbal scent was a bit strange at first use, but it's not overpowering, so it's actually quite alright. - pa*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedDec 9, 2022
I couldn't find it in stores, but since it's a new product, I really wanted to try it, so I bought it from the official Burt's Bees website. I love Burt's Bees lip balms the most, and I keep using them by switching up the scents whenever I get bored. This one is truly the best!! It has a subtle herbal scent and feels light on the lips, so I'm using it frequently. The scent is like rosemary mixed with eucalyptus... When I first tried it, I was startled because it smelled more like insecticide than herbs. However, it's a scent you get used to quickly, so it's okay.
