I've been a fan of Real Barrier's Extreme Cream in winter, so I was excited about their new release. This toner has a very fluid, watery texture that flows easily. It's fragrance-free, making it suitable for those sensitive to scents. As someone with sensitive, atopic-prone skin, I always carefully check ingredients. Happily, this product didn't cause any irritation. I also appreciated the cap design - instead of twisting, you can simply lift it to open, which is quite convenient! After a week of use, while I didn't see dramatic effects on my pores, it excelled at removing dead skin cells. As the weather gets colder and skin becomes drier, even with a solid skincare routine, flaky skin can appear without exfoliation. This product allowed for gentle exfoliation without needing separate steps. It even helped control excess oil on my nose area with consistent use as an exfoliating toner. However, as with most exfoliating toners, it can be a bit drying for me. I think it's better suited for light cleansing before makeup application rather than nighttime care. It might be more ideal for summer use when you want something lightweight.
ConsThis toner alone might not be enough to address deep dryness, so those with combination dehydrated skin or dry skin types might find it lacking in hydration. It seems more suitable for those with very oily skin.

It's a toner that gives a sense of refining skin texture. I'm curious to see how much my pores will have reduced once I finish the whole bottle!
ConsFirst off, as a toner you use generously, it's a bit pricey. When I tried to use it as a skin pack, it seemed to dry rather quickly, and if you don't follow up with sufficient hydration, your cheeks can feel extremely tight. I'm not sure about pores shrinking overnight... I think I'll need to keep using it to notice a difference. There was also a slight issue with shipping. While it wasn't broken, the lid seemed to have opened slightly during transit. The seal was intact, but some of the toner had leaked. The packaging could use some improvement.
TipIt would be good to follow up with plenty of hydration after using it as a skin pack.

I got another chance to try out a product thanks to winning an event, so I'm here to share my review. I took a small amount with me on a trip, as you can see in the photo. 1. Texture While most toners have a water-like consistency, some products can feel a bit sticky. This one, however, has absolutely no stickiness and actually feels like it absorbs well into the skin. 2. Low Irritation As someone with combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, I didn't experience much irritation with this product. Usually, I don't apply toners with my hands like I would a skin lotion, and the level of irritation can vary depending on the type of cotton pad used. When I say it's not irritating, I mean it doesn't cause any blemishes. While I typically prefer exfoliating toners, they can sometimes cause a tingling sensation on my face. I really appreciated that this product didn't have any of those effects.
ConsThe downside seems to be the hydration level. Even though I don't have dry skin, I noticed some deep dryness after using this exfoliating toner. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to address deep dryness.

I like oil-free, non-pore-clogging, hydrating formulas with a fresh feel. My favorite is Mamonde Rose Water Toner - affordable, water-based, yet moisturizing. Quick summary: A gentle toner with mild ingredients that refines skin texture and feels refreshing Received on November 15, 2022, with an expiration date of October 16, 2025. 305ml priced at 22,000 won. Packaging: The box has a reflective silver finish. The toner bottle is uniquely square-shaped and transparent with a snap-on cap. The lid fits securely, and the bottle seems durable. I appreciate that the label is easy to remove for recycling. Application: Above average As a water-based toner without viscosity, it's easy to apply. The texture is fresh without any slipperiness. It's less smooth than runny toners or slightly viscous water-based products. You can pat it in with your palms or use a cotton pad to wipe - both methods work well. If you find it irritating, try using a spray bottle. Absorption: Excellent Absorbs incredibly fast. A few pats and it's completely absorbed, leaving skin smooth and fresh without stickiness. Hydration: Low Water-based toners generally provide less hydration compared to more viscous or essence-type toners. Considering the hydration level of water-based toners as average, this one falls on the lower end. It's less moisturizing than Mamonde Rose Water Toner, and similar to or slightly less hydrating than Nacific Deep Moisture Pore Toner and Nakeup Face The Hyaluronic Water Toner. It would be great for hot weather due to its oil-free formula. For toner packs, 3 minutes is ideal as it dries quickly, especially on areas like the forehead. Exfoliation: Above average While it doesn't immediately improve whiteheads or blackheads, it noticeably refines skin texture from the first use. With continued use, bumpy texture and dead skin cells seem to diminish. It combines chemical exfoliants (AHA, BHA, PHA, LHA) with enzymatic exfoliation to effectively remove dead skin cells and sebum while minimizing irritation. It didn't cause stinging or itching on areas with seborrheic dermatitis. It's convenient for daily skin texture improvement and gentle exfoliation. Works best as an exfoliating toner rather than for absorption. If you experience irritation, try using it every other day or every third day to find the right frequency for your skin. Gentle ingredients: Excellent Out of 23 total ingredients, there are no concerning or potentially allergenic components. It's mildly acidic and free from artificial fragrances, making it suitable for sensitive skin. It contains beneficial ingredients like adenosine, allantoin, ceramide, madecassoside, and Centella asiatica extract to soothe blemishes and strengthen the skin barrier. Blemish occurrence: None Despite containing exfoliating ingredients, it didn't cause redness, itching, or acne breakouts. Seems suitable for daily, gentle exfoliation. Scent & Color: Fragrance-free with a slight green tint from the natural color of Neem tree leaf and flower extracts. I appreciate the absence of artificial fragrances and colorants. Overall impression: I'm a fan of Neopharm products for their gentle formulas that strengthen the skin barrier. Having enjoyed Real Barrier Extreme Cream and Dermatory Body Emulsion, I had high expectations for this toner and wasn't disappointed. As the weather gets colder and dead skin cells accumulate, even the best skincare products can't be effective. This product allows for gentle exfoliation, even for sensitive skin. Sometimes I find high-performance, high-nutrition, and high-moisture products overwhelming, but this one is mild and gentle. Although this review is based on a week's use, I expect to be even more satisfied with continued use.
ConsIt lacks deep nourishment and hydration. While sufficient for me as I use toners mainly for skin texture refinement, it might not provide enough moisture for those who rely on toners for hydration. Especially for those with dry skin, it could feel particularly drying during seasonal changes or winter. This product may not be suitable for those seeking intense hydration or nourishment. Although it contains many ingredients that strengthen and stabilize the skin barrier, it's not a rich, anti-aging product. It's best thought of as a gentle exfoliator that refines skin texture. The pore-tightening effect isn't immediate. After a week of use, I noticed gradual improvements in skin texture and reduced sebum production, but the results weren't as dramatic as using a peeling product. There was a slight reduction in blackheads and whiteheads, and overall skin refinement. However, it didn't noticeably reduce the number or depth of pores, nor did it dramatically eliminate blackheads. Given that the skin cell turnover cycle is about 28 days, more significant changes might be observed with continued use. This may not be suitable for those expecting immediate and visible results. The quantity is somewhat small. At the regular price, it's 22,000 won for 300ml. When using it as an exfoliating toner, I apply it generously with a cotton pad to minimize irritation. Using it both as an exfoliating toner and for toner packs, the product seems to run out quickly, making the quantity feel insufficient for the price.
TipCleansing routine that helped with seborrheic dermatitis: Use a cotton pad soaked in toner to remove base makeup or sunscreen - Gently massage with 4-5 pumps of cleansing oil - Emulsify - Finish with a generous amount of foam cleanser created using a foam net, then follow with skincare routine Toner pack for skin prone to heat: I tend to experience significant heat on my face. I've heard that dead skin cells, blemishes, and redness can all result from skin dryness caused by this heat. Since frequent sheet masks might be too much for sensitive skin, try this instead: Soak a cotton pad generously with a gentle toner, refrigerate it for about 5 minutes, then place it on your face. While a 3-minute toner pack can be effective, 5-7 minutes is said to be most beneficial. Doing a toner pack before makeup application can also help your makeup go on more smoothly.
