Applies with a beautiful glossy finish and has great ingredients, so I've already gone through four tubes, buying it every time there's a sale at Olive Young. I usually apply a generous amount before bed. As shown in the photo, when the lip balm is almost finished, the coating on the part you press peels off and gets on your hands. It's really unsettling because I worry it might accidentally get on my lips too. I wish they would change the print. While the glossy texture is nice, it feels like my lips dry out quickly. - se*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinFeb 3, 2025
The scent isn't my cup of tea... I actually preferred the original Himalaya lip balm The fragrance doesn't suit my taste. Maybe because I have dry skin, but I can't really tell if it's moisturizing - wk******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 23, 2025
The tube packaging allows for hygienic use, which is a definite plus. The moisturizing effect seems to last for a long time. In summer, the heat causes the lip balm to separate, making it really difficult to use. I only use it during winter! - lj*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDec 12, 2024
- Affordable price - Cute design in its own way - Great portability - Widely available for purchase - The scent is not particularly pleasant - Lacks hydration: Despite being honey-based, it's disappointingly low in moisture - Texture: Instead of providing a moisturizing feel, it has an oily, greasy sensation that I personally dislike. After application, it leaves a dry, slightly rough feeling on the lips - The product's outer surface tends to chip This lip balm, while budget-friendly and conveniently portable, falls short in delivering the expected hydration. Its honey-based formula doesn't provide the deep moisture many users hope for. The texture leans towards a greasy feel rather than a nourishing one, which might not suit those looking for rich hydration. The fragrance isn't particularly appealing, and the packaging's durability is questionable due to chipping. However, its wide availability and cute design might still appeal to some consumers looking for an affordable option. - ye******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresNov 16, 2024
It doesn't cause chapped lips when applied. The price is reasonable. Other than that, I can't think of any major advantages. The quality isn't terrible, but it's not great either. It falls a bit short of being just 'okay'. Instead of absorbing moistly, it feels slightly greasy and sits on the surface. It doesn't solve deep dryness. The scent is too strong and constantly distracting. The artificial fragrance overpowers the natural honey scent. There's a noticeable grittiness of unknown origin. With frequent use, the packaging coating(?) peels off. I've tried three types of Himalaya lip balms so far, and I thought only the strawberry one had this slippery packaging, but this one does too. The peeling bits stick to the twisting part of the cap, my bag, and even the product opening, sometimes transferring to my lips. To prepare for when the coating peels off, I wrap the container with tape before using it. - so********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedOct 2, 2024
I bought the strawberry lip balm and honey gloss lip balm on sale at E-mart. The honey one feels richer, so it should be great for keeping lips moisturized in winter! It's a bit disappointing that there's one harmful ingredient, and the scent isn't natural, so pregnant women should be cautious. If you apply it generously on your lips before bed, you'll wake up with hydrated lips the next morning. - mi************Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 2, 2024
It's incredibly moisturizing, probably due to the honey content. Plus, it's an absolute bargain! At first, I wasn't keen on the scent, but after giving it a sniff, I realized it has a yogurt-like fragrance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 12, 2024
I've been using this for about a year now. I initially bought it as an affordable option to use generously. I love applying a thick layer before bed and wiping it off in the morning - it leaves my lips feeling so clean and refreshed! There's nothing particularly bad about it, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say the scent wasn't quite to my liking. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 26, 2024
The ingredients are decent and it's relatively affordable. It gives a nice glossy sheen. The container's outer layer peels off and gets on your hands. The screw part of the lid is cracked, causing the product to leak. The packaging definitely needs improvement. - tw********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 1, 2023
It's time for my review of Himalaya's Honey Gloss Lip Balm! The season when lip balm becomes inseparable from our lips has arrived. I often feel dryness on my lips, so I tend to apply lip balm dozens of times a day whenever they feel parched. As a result, I go through lip balms quickly. This lip balm contains natural honey, which helps soothe cracked or chapped lips. It forms a protective layer on the skin to help prevent moisture loss and also contains beeswax (a substance secreted from bees' abdomens, commonly known as cera alba), which acts as a natural preservative. It also contains olive oil, known for its skin-soothing and nourishing properties. It provides excellent hydration too. The texture is oily, giving a coating sensation on the lips. It has a yellow color due to the honey content. I love how the moisturizing effect lasts for a long time. What I appreciated most about this lip balm is its packaging. Unlike most tube-type lip balms with soft cases that dispense too much product, this one has a firm case despite its oily formula. This allows for better control of the amount dispensed, which I found particularly satisfying. I'm very pleased with it. #HimalayaLipBalm #HoneyGlossLipBalm The scent is full of honey with a slightly sour note, possibly due to the olive oil. The fragrance might not be to everyone's taste. It's great for use before and after lip makeup, as it gently fills in lip lines, enhancing the vibrant color payoff of tints and lipsticks.
