It feels like pearls filled with moisture, if that makes sense? I didn't expect much coverage since it has keywords like 'clear' and 'dewy glow', but surprisingly, it does a decent job of evening out skin tone and covering some blemishes. It might even have more coverage than those trendy 'dew' products or the Rom&nd Masch Mash cushions! There's a noticeable cooling effect on first touch. Thanks to its thin texture, you can pat it on without worrying about emphasizing dead skin cells or wrinkles, even if you use a bit too much. However, the overall skin finish is just so-so. I'm not sure it gives that clear, beautiful glow I was hoping for. That said, I really liked the shade 17 - it's a lovely clear, pink-toned base.
ConsIt does transfer a bit. You'll need to touch up around your glasses or mask every time you take them off. Still, for a moisturizing balm-type compact, it's relatively matte compared to others, so the transfer isn't too bad. Of course, with my combination dehydrated skin, I found my face getting a bit shiny as time went on, so I often reached for oil blotting papers.
TipI'd recommend this for those who don't have much to cover up, or for those struggling with dry winter skin that tends to look flaky with other products.
