I received this as a gift and I love how bright shade 17 is. I highly recommend it for those with fair skin and a blemish-free complexion. It's not a cushion with a mesh, but rather a balm type, so it tends to attract dust easily. Also, the coverage is on the lighter side. The Age 20's Master Double Cover has a grayish tint that makes your skin appear whiter, while this product goes on more transparently. It may not make you look as pale, but it gives a more natural, translucent finish. That's the main difference between the two. I'm hesitant to use it because it's an Aekyung product. It's moisturizing with great coverage, though it tends to transfer a bit. Still, I haven't found anything better, so I've been using it for 8 years now. As someone with extremely dry skin, I prefer a dewy, glowing complexion! This cushion foundation ticks all the boxes for a classic cushion. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and creates a beautifully natural finish! This is definitely not a summer cushion - it'll make you look like an oil slick in hot weather! I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types except in the dead of winter. However, it's perfect for very dry to dry skin types. If you have combination skin, a light dusting of powder should make it work beautifully! Since it's such a hydrating cushion, be careful not to overdo your skincare routine beforehand or it might cause pilling. After the discontinuation of A-Solution's compact, I carefully researched and switched to this product! It's moisturizing, doesn't cause blemishes even on sensitive skin, and beautifully evens out my complexion. I'm really pleased with it! After using the compact, I did notice a slight dryness. It seems I'll need to pay extra attention to my skincare routine as a base. True to its name 'Clear Moisture Glow Pact', it applies thinly and transparently. It's perfect for those days when you don't want to put on a full face of makeup before stepping out - just dab this on and go! The case is disappointingly flimsy. When you open the lid to apply the pact, the inner cover separates from the case. I managed to use it somehow, but after dropping it, the case split in two, so now I'm just carrying around the refill. It has zero coverage, and if you apply it without exfoliating first, it clings to dead skin cells and applies unevenly, leaving a messy finish.

For those who don't react well to dipanthenol (surprisingly common), I bought this without checking the ingredients, and sure enough, the panthenol is causing significant texture issues. I'll seriously cry if they discontinue this. Please, please don't! I'll show my dedication by buying 12 every year, so please don't stop making it. This balm-like texture is the only one that truly suits shade 17. It's more hydrating than YYJTYN and doesn't clog pores at all. YYJTYN feels a bit stiff for some reason, and after applying it, it's just stuck in my pores everywhere. The fine powder ingredients don't seem to agree with me... But this Luna cushion shows no clogging under any lighting, even up close. For reference, my skin type is blemish-prone with lots of dead skin cells and poor texture. I have to apply toner at least 3 times for makeup to adhere to my dry, flaky skin. I have over 40 cushions at home, so trust me on this one - it's amazing! The case opens by itself and falls apart. It shows they've invested little in it, which makes me fear it might be discontinued. It's not just my case - I saw this at Olive Young samples too, and my friend's case is also falling apart. Just buy it and pat it in a lot. If you stop patting midway, it'll leave puff marks. Don't apply heavy cream-like textures underneath, it'll make it pill and look thick (this is common for most cushions). Let's create that Inner Glow with toner and prep the skin to absorb makeup well. 'With toner.' If you hydrate well in your skincare routine, how is that the cushion's merit? No, no. The shade is so light it has a white undertone, making it perfect for brightening specific areas over other base makeup. It feels refreshingly cool when you pat it on! As someone with dry skin, I usually prefer moisturizing compact foundations. While it feels cool when applying, it tends to sit on top of the skin after blending. Unfortunately, it accentuates dead skin cells, resulting in a less-than-flattering complexion. It works well for highlighting areas like the forehead or nose bridge when applied over other base makeup.
