And the most important thing for me, which is skin troubles, didn't appear at all. It doesn't contain any pore-clogging ingredients, and I actually bought it just by looking at the ingredients, but the functionality also satisfies me.
ConsIt is a bit drying, but I recommend using a solid skincare routine. I found that applying it with a puff works better for me.

I liked that I could just lightly apply the tone-up cream and go, and my face looked brighter and fresher! 👍Natural Tone-Up While it may vary from person to person, for me who uses a foundation about a half-shade lighter, this was an advantage! Even if I sloppily applied it thickly with my hands, it absorbed well and looked natural, which I liked. 👍Can Apply Haphazardly Being able to apply it with my hands, a puff, or any way is a big plus. It was great that I could just wash my hands and apply it outside as well! The spreadability is similar to applying a physical sunscreen.
ConsIt cakes a bit! When applying it thickly, there is a slight caking around the sides of the nose and pores, so I had to be a bit careful in those areas.

But this product gives a pretty and luminous pink tone, making my natural bright skin look even more radiant! * Appropriate coverage without feeling heavy: However, since the derma ingredients are not too strong, the coverage is not extremely high. But it covers the areas that need to be covered well and provides an even skin expression, so I would recommend this product even for those with significantly damaged skin. * Long-lasting: My skin is oily, so by the afternoon, a lot of my makeup tends to wear off. But this product has quite good lasting power, and even when it starts to fade, it doesn't look greasy but stays nicely matte, so I would also recommend it for oily skin types.
ConsThe downside is the price point and the fact that it is not completely 20-free. But overall, I'm quite satisfied with it, so I'm planning to continue using and repurchasing it.
TipAfter your skincare routine, use this tone-up cream as a base, and for areas that need more coverage, just lightly dab on some concealer and powder. This should give you an almost perfect makeup look. This should work well even with the current mask-wearing situation, as it doesn't tend to rub off easily!

It may not be satisfactory for those who want definite tone-up. Texture: The texture is not sticky or runny, so it's easy to apply with your hands or a puff. I found it more comfortable and natural to apply with a puff! Fragrance: It has a typical, ordinary cosmetic scent... There's nothing overpowering or unpleasant about the fragrance. Breakouts: I didn't experience any breakouts after applying it. This may vary individually, so you'll need to test it out. Color: Even though it's the same color as a 21 foundation, the feeling is different when applied. Skin Expression: For my combination skin, the finish is somewhat semi-matte. If you don't properly prep your skin, there may be a slight emphasis on pores or dry patches around the nose area.
ConsI usually use the Espoir Water Splash sunscreen, which has a pink base, so it gives a brighter, longer-lasting effect. In contrast, this product has a yellow base, so the brightening effect is less pronounced.

It brightens and evens out the skin tone naturally, making it great for daily use. It also leaves a soft, powdery finish that doesn't transfer onto the hands. Plus, with SPF 50, you can skip the sunscreen and use this as your base - it's so convenient and nice. (But you should still use a separate sunscreen product in the winter!!) I often go out bare-faced, and found that cushion foundations just made my face look too pale, requiring additional makeup. But this product covers and brightens my skin in a natural way, which I'm really happy about. I plan to use it every day going forward.
ConsDesign: The product design looks a bit outdated... it reminds me of old BB cream designs. Coverage: It provides almost no coverage for blemishes or pores! Oil control & longevity: It's a bit oily and doesn't last well. Even though I have dry skin, I noticed my nose area became shiny and flaky later on. The breakdown was a bit messy.

Cons🖤Considering that my skin condition is not good due to the change of seasons.. 🖤After applying it in the morning and checking it 4-5 hours later, there are whitish flakes around my nose, cheeks, and chin. 🖤When applying it with my hands, I have to wipe off the residue left on my hands. 🖤Some small red blemishes have appeared, so it's been a bit troublesome.. (I'm still using the same basic skincare routine, just adding the tone-up cream) 🖤Over time, there seems to be a slight darkening.
Tip💜If you apply it thinly and evenly, and then dab it with a tissue, you can adjust the amount better and it won't look as uneven or have poor staying power

I used to only use tone-up sunscreen, but I was curious about the Derma-Seen Base-Free Tone-Up Cream, so I tried it out. As a moisturizing tone-up cream, it feels hydrating when applied and gives a smooth, radiant finish. I think this would be great for oily skin in the winter and dry skin in the summer. With an SPF of 50, it's perfect for outdoor activities, and the tone-up effect looks natural, not overdone. The coverage is smooth and even, and it doesn't break down messily over time.
ConsAs a moisturizing tone-up cream, oily skin types may find that it can make their base routine feel too heavy if applied too generously. Also, since my skin is already quite bright, I didn't notice a significant tone-up effect when using it. Those with skin tones in the 22-25 range may see more noticeable brightening results.
TipInstead of applying it like a regular sunscreen or lotion, gently patting it onto the skin after a thin, even application can help it last longer on the skin.

When I applied it in 21-22 shades, it provided a natural tone-up effect. The color is not very bright, and it is quite natural, so it may not be very satisfying for those who want a brighter tone-up. (Photo 1 - Bare face / Photo 2 - Tone-up cream & spot concealer used) 📍Coverage: The coverage is not very good, but it helps even out the skin tone overall. It seems to have some BB cream functions as well, not just a tone-up product. It can cover light blemishes well. 📍Texture & Formulation It's not a very creamy formula like a cream, but it applies slightly thick. However, it adheres to the skin quickly, and with powder finishing, it doesn't easily transfer onto the mask. It's not extremely drying, but you should have a good skincare routine before applying, so that it doesn't accentuate dryness or flakiness over time. 📍Functions & Ingredients It provides tone-up and BB cream effects, and it also has SPF, so you can complete your routine with just this product. The ingredients seem good compared to other tone-up creams.
Cons✔️Accentuates Dryness The slightly thick formula can accentuate dryness over time, so you need to exfoliate regularly and have a good skincare routine. ✔️Oily Finish It feels like it has a bit more oil content than moisture. After application, it absorbs quickly but leaves a slightly oily residue. ✔️Color The natural 21-22 shade tone may be a bit dark for those with brighter skin tones. The color is closer to a BB cream than an ivory-toned tone-up cream.
Tip🪄Dry skin types will find this the most suitable, while combination or oily skin types will need to use powder. 🪄Apply a thin layer with your fingers first, then use a puff to blend it in for better adherence. 🪄This is great to use when you have to wear a mask often, as it is transfer-proof.

However, this tone-up cream in a beige color provides moderate tone-up and tone correction, so lately I just apply this instead of foundation when going out simply. And it seems to be absorbed into the skin well, as there is little transfer onto the mask. The texture is soft and slightly creamy. But there is no cakiness or stickiness on the nose. If you apply it with your hands like a regular cream and pat it lightly, it gives a subtle glow and makes the skin expression look beautiful. This is the best tone-up cream I've used so far. The other products I used before would disappear by the evening, leaving only oiliness, but this one maintains the pretty look until the evening, so it's convenient to just use this instead of sunscreen or foundation. I was generally satisfied with the 23yearsold product and have been purchasing and using it consistently, but next time I'll make sure to get this tone-up cream as well.
ConsWhile I'm satisfied overall, if I had to think of one shortcoming, I think it would have been even better if the packaging was a pump type.
TipI recommend applying it with your hands rather than a sponge. That way, it gives a nice glow and keeps the skin feeling moisturized.

At first, when I tried it on the back of my hand without reading the details, I thought it was just a BB cream, but the description was there as well. Haha After applying it, I thought it might be a bit thick, but it was just an issue with the amount. After applying a little less, I tried it again and it brightened my skin tone nicely. It's not very noticeable in the photo, but the tone-up effect looks natural. The matte feeling on bare skin wasn't there either. Due to time constraints, I just applied the essence and topped it with the tone-up cream, but the skin looked brighter than expected and the application was smooth! I thought it might get sticky if I rubbed it in, but that wasn't the case. I think the fact that it applies smoothly even with heavy application is one of the advantages of this product. This is based on applying it thinly, though.
ConsHowever, given the current season, a few hours later, I felt like the area around my cheeks was a bit uneven, and it was a bit disappointing that it transferred onto the mask a little.
