Jo Malone never disappoints! This is truly my favorite nostalgic scent. It's a cool fragrance that isn't overwhelming. The real kick comes not immediately after spraying, but when the scent has had a chance to settle. People kept asking me what perfume I was wearing (in hushed tones). Right after spraying, there's a bit of an alcohol-like smell... It's not the same scent you get when you sniff directly from the bottle. Please, I beg you, apply it about 30 minutes before going out. Otherwise, it might not smell quite right. - co******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 13, 2025
The scent is sweeter and cozier than expected, which is why I personally wear it in spring. Rather than a fresh floral fragrance, it has a stronger sweet and heavy feel, so some might perceive it as unisex. I think it's a perfect perfume to wear when flowers are in full bloom during spring. If I had found the perfume disappointing, considering it's a luxury item, I probably wouldn't have purchased it. Instead of sticking to one fragrance, I tend to match my scent to the season, much like changing outerwear. - rn********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2025
The scent is refreshing with a subtle floral note, making it perfect for use any time of year, regardless of the season. The fragrance is pleasant and the longevity is quite good, so I can't really find any downsides. - wl*****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 18, 2025
This is the first perfume I bought when traveling abroad, and it seems like the kind of fragrance that a sophisticated and elegant woman would wear. I absolutely dislike vanilla, but this is a floral scent with a soft, powdery aroma. I know it's a popular perfume from Jo Malone as well. While I didn't notice exceptional longevity, when I apply it in the morning, I can still detect it on my wrist in the evening. it's expensive, boo hoo. i want to buy a new one, but i can't because the money is too precious to spend. Visit a Hwahae store and smell the fragrances! - rl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 1, 2025
My family is sensitive to strong scents and usually gives me disapproving looks when I wear heavy perfumes. But when I use this, everyone loves it because of its subtle fragrance. The trade-off for its subtlety is that it doesn't last very long. You might want to reapply it around lunchtime to keep that pleasant scent going until evening. - su*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
I've sampled nearly every perfume at department stores, and this one truly stands out as my favorite The only downside is always the high price tag For a longer-lasting scent, apply an emulsion first, then spray the perfume over it - la*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 20, 2025
When it comes to fragrances, Jo Malone really seems to be in a league of its own. The scent is incredibly sophisticated, and I especially love the lingering notes. It's fantastic how long-lasting the fragrance is. As wonderful as the scent is, it's always been known for its high price point. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints. - zm**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2025
It's a light and refreshing fragrance perfect for spring and summer! I loved that it has a sweet floral scent that's not too overpowering. The main note seems to be freesia. True to its name as a cologne, the longevity is unfortunately quite weak... That's a bit disappointing. You can get it at a great price if you buy it at duty-free shops. - ch*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedFeb 8, 2025
This is my first department store perfume purchase. True to its name, English Pear & Freesia combines floral notes with a pear scent, making it perfect for women in their 20s. Highly recommended! Those who prefer woody or soapy scents might find the floral notes overwhelming and not to their taste. Another drawback is that the fragrance fades rather quickly. Using the matching hand cream can extend the longevity of the scent! I also love spraying it on my hairbrush - it leaves my hair smelling wonderful and puts me in a great mood. - sh***Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2025
This isn't your typical feminine fragrance. It's more of a chic and sophisticated scent, if I had to describe it. For me, it was a bit strong. So I'd recommend spraying it around your waist area rather than near your collar or anywhere close to your nose. I found the scent a bit intense, so I ended up spraying it on my undergarments instead.
