It's incredibly refreshing when I use this on my ears when they're itchy or when I want to manage sebum. I use it occasionally for that cool, soothing feeling. I tried this when I occasionally noticed a pus-like odor, and I think it works well. It effectively cleans away built-up grime, significantly reducing the smell. While it works for piercing holes, it's difficult to insert into regular earring holes as they're smaller, and it can be a bit painful to remove. After soaking in cleansing water, the thread unravels, making it harder to insert into the holes. My method is to insert the thread first, then soak it in the cleansing water before removing it.

The stick dissolves quickly when dipped in the liquid. As it thickens, it becomes difficult and painful to insert into the ear. It was fun. I've always wanted to try cleaning my piercing holes with thread, and it was a good experience. The thread wouldn't go into the piercing holes no matter what I did. I even tried pushing it through with the piercing itself, but it still wouldn't go in. And I'm not sure if it's actually removing any debris... I really can't tell. Feels like I wasted my money. I stumbled upon this at Olive Young and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a great find! My ears were swollen and itchy, but after just one use, the swelling went down significantly. Actually, while refills are available, it would be nice if they offered refills for the cleansing water as well. Make sure to follow the instructions for use. I bought this because my ear piercings would smell even after washing without earrings. It's definitely effective - now there's no odor when I touch or smell my ears! There's not really anything to complain about. Just make sure to read the instructions carefully before use. You need to insert the green handle part of the stick into the hole first! Otherwise, it won't go in.
