It has a lightweight formula that doesn't cause blemishes or leave my skin feeling dry. It's especially refreshing during hot summer days when my skin feels heated!
ConsSince it's a roll-on product, you need to check occasionally to make sure the ampoule is coming out properly. When using it, you have to tilt your face up and position the product correctly to ensure the ampoule flows out well.

The product itself is genuinely cooling and lightweight, which helped tremendously with morning puffiness. At first, I was a bit disappointed that the ampoule was so light and absorbed quickly, but as I continued using it, I realized that this aspect actually made it perfect to incorporate into any skincare routine. The texture is really fantastic. The scent was a bit strong initially, but I stopped noticing it after a while (I'm not particularly sensitive). The roller part is so refreshing that it relieved stress and felt amazing every time I used it. Plus, the gua sha part was great for cool massages, so I was really happy carrying it around often. It was comfortable to use on my neck or cheeks without causing any blemishes.
ConsOne downside is that if you apply too much pressure while using it, the plastic part can touch your skin, so you need to be careful about that. Also, with the gua sha part, the plastic bit under the cap can come loose, so you need to be cautious. While the ampoule's small size makes it great for carrying around, it does mean the volume isn't very large. I'd recommend that those sensitive to fragrances test it out before purchasing.
TipI recommend this because it's mood-lifting just to add it to your existing skincare routine! It helps with puffiness, and those who enjoy gua sha will likely be satisfied. However, it's essential to test first if you have delicate skin or are sensitive to fragrances!

Even with makeup on, I can dab a bit on dry areas around my eyes or mouth, which is great. The texture is light, making it perfect for frequent application, especially during spring and summer. The packaging is luxurious and sturdy. While you can't refill it, I'll probably repurpose it as an eye roller or gua sha tool once it's empty. The color and design of the container are really beautiful!
ConsFor an ampoule, the texture is very watery, so I'm not sure about its effectiveness. With this consistency, it should be classified as a toner. I'd prefer a more concentrated texture for an ampoule, or maybe it should be marketed as an eye ampoule instead. It seems like you're paying for the outer box and container rather than the product itself. The inner roller works fine for the eye and mouth area, but it's difficult to apply to the whole face. Even if you apply it quickly, it dries up too fast for gua sha, making it hard to glide smoothly. Also, the gua sha part is plastic, but oddly enough, the outer cap feels more like a proper gua sha tool. Considering the price, the amount is too small. It would be great if the roller could be opened for refills.
TipYou can't do gua sha right after rolling the ampoule because it dries too quickly. So, I roll the ampoule all over my face, then apply cream or oil on top before using the gua sha tool. This way, it glides smoothly and absorbs well.

The metal ball applicator gives a cool, refreshing sensation that I really enjoyed. It's so portable, I happily carried it around and applied it on-the-go. The fragrance is floral :) Personally, I was a fan! When you apply it, it feels like it's spreading a bit, almost like a liquid coating. It's not heavy on the skin :) I don't like sticky products, but this one was just right. The hydration was good too, I really liked it overall.
ConsI've heard many people say it leaves a greasy feeling after use. Sometimes the liquid doesn't come out of the rolling ball, which is disappointing. Somehow I found myself not using the gua sha tool much... I had high hopes but ended up not using it often, which is a shame. It works well for small areas like around the eyes, but for larger areas like the cheeks or forehead, the rolling ball is too small, making it difficult to use. The scent is stronger than expected, so it might not be to everyone's taste. The price is really high, which is a downside.
TipI mainly used it around my eyes, nasolabial folds, and between my eyebrows! It's also good for contouring and super convenient to carry around. Try using it chilled for an extra refreshing experience!

This results in a moisturized finish, and it seems to work perfectly with the built-in roller! Roller: Using the innermost roller to massage and press various areas, I felt like it might be reducing puffiness...? I think you'd need to use it consistently for a few weeks, not just days, to see more noticeable results! Scent: It has a mild, familiar scent - kind of like your mom's cosmetics, you know?
ConsRoom for improvement: It's more watery than I expected, so I didn't feel like it had outstanding hydration. It feels more like a toner than an ampoule. The amount seems a bit small.
TipIt takes some time, but if you follow along with YouTube facial massage videos using the roller before bed and in the morning, you can feel a slight reduction in puffiness.

The formula feels light and absorbs well. I liked that when rolling, the product comes out, allowing for simultaneous massage and skincare. It's an advantage that you can skip the step of patting in essences or serums with your hands. I applied for The Hwahae Testers after seeing the product in Lee Si-young's reels. I couldn't fully appreciate the product's benefits when I first used it, so I'm leaving this review after using it completely during the testing period! Design - It has a compact size with a good grip. It seems convenient for carrying around. Texture - It's not a thick, bouncy ampoule texture. It's quite thin. I might have felt this way because the collagen product I was using before had a thicker consistency. Application - As you use the roller, it feels like it's massaging and absorbing at the same time. Irritation - Very gentle. No irritation at all. Scent - It was almost unscented. After application - It feels a bit dry, but the finish is refreshing. The roller is great for morning facial puffiness, and when you remove the large cap, there's a flat applicator that's perfect for massaging after using a sheet mask in the evening.
ConsThe texture doesn't feel like an ampoule; it's too light. The dryness is a drawback, making a cream essential. Rather than an ampoule, 'water serum' might be the most appropriate description.
TipIt seems like it would be good to use when you have puffiness. It might be difficult to see effects with daily use. While the product is designed to provide both ampoule and massage effects simultaneously, it seems to lean more towards the massage aspect. The massage function is definitely good. It's great for relaxing the under-eye area and especially beneficial when you're puffy. Due to its small size, it feels like it provides thorough care, so it would be good to use primarily for massage purposes.

The texture is incredibly smooth and firm, yet it absorbs quickly without any sticky feeling. It's perfect for gua sha massage - you can use the wider part to glide along your jaw and cheeks, allowing for firm absorption. The inner ball is great for rolling around the nose, eye wrinkles, and other detailed areas, which I found fantastic. The formula is quite light and fluid. I expected a collagen-based product to be heavy and difficult to absorb, maybe even sticky, but I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it absorbed, leaving my skin feeling light and hydrated. The scent is exactly the kind of herbal aroma I love, so I had no issues with it at all. The roller part feels cool, making it excellent for reducing morning puffiness and improving blood circulation. Its compact size means I can carry it around and use it whenever I need. When my face feels hot from stress, it helps reduce the heat while keeping my skin moisturized and cool - which I really appreciate!
ConsDespite having sensitive skin, atopy, and redness, I didn't experience any blemishes. The only downside was that the amount felt a bit small. Using it regularly for about two weeks, I noticed it ran out quite quickly, which was disappointing. However, I had absolutely no complaints about the product's performance or quality. I also really loved the scent. Even after finishing this trial with The Hwahae Testers, I'm definitely planning to keep purchasing it regularly.
TipWhile it feels cool during massage even at room temperature, keeping it in the fridge makes it even more effective at reducing puffiness quickly. It's great to use in the morning after washing your face when you're still feeling sleepy - it helps chase away drowsiness and wakes up your muscles with its cooling effect. Some people might find the light texture challenging for massage, but I found it worked perfectly when I applied toner first and let it absorb, followed by a serum. It left my skin feeling silky smooth. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try this wonderful product. I'll definitely continue using it!

It's also easy to control the amount you use. Texture: It has a light, watery consistency! While it may not provide intense hydration, it feels refreshingly moist when applied. If you dislike sticky textures, this might be perfect for you! Scent: There's a subtle rose toner fragrance! Since you only apply a tiny amount to your face, it shouldn't be off-putting unless you really dislike rose scents. Size: The compact size makes it convenient to carry around wherever you go!
Cons1. Application: I have combination-oily skin that rarely feels dry, but this product felt drying during application. If you have dry skin, it would be even more dehydrating! The roller is tiny, and it dispenses small amounts at a time. By the time you finish applying it to one cheek and move to the other, the first cheek already feels dry. Most people apply serums as the first or second step after cleansing, but with this one, your face might completely dry out before you finish applying! Gua sha: The serum's texture isn't suitable for gua sha. It's excessively drying and can irritate the skin. For gua sha, it might be better to use the cream from the same line instead.
TipNot recommended to use the serum alone as it's too drying. If you really want to use it, it might work well for oily/combination skin types during summer when you want a light, non-sticky base that's moderately hydrating and cooling! If you want to use it for gua sha, make sure to pair it with a deeply hydrating cream or oil product! Be careful not to massage too vigorously with gua sha in an attempt to reduce puffiness, as this can lead to sagging skin and wrinkles. Always make sure you know the proper technique before using gua sha.

My skin tends to be oily in the T-zone and dry elsewhere. The rolling massage was pleasant and gentle. I'll update on wrinkle improvement after using it longer. The ball itself wasn't irritating. It's an innovative product with a great concept. After application, it absorbed well, leaving a light and fresh finish. I felt like I might need to apply a cream afterwards. There was a pleasant scent that made the massage feel like a therapy session. The lingering fragrance after application was quite enjoyable. This is my first review as a Hwahae Tester, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to try this great product. I'll update on wrinkle improvement later. I have fine lines under my eyes when I smile and slight nasolabial folds. +Update: When applied before bed, I noticed my skin felt firmer in the morning. The more I use it, the more satisfied I am. While it doesn't dramatically improve eye wrinkles, it gives a temporary plumping effect overall. I want to use it consistently. The massage ball is convenient too - much easier than taking out a gua sha tool for a separate massage routine.
ConsWhile the product didn't cause any blemishes or discomfort, sometimes the ball didn't dispense enough product and just rolled over the skin. Though not severely irritating, you need to be careful due to the friction. Sometimes it releases product, sometimes it doesn't, so you need to roll gently. I was also concerned about hygiene when using the ball. Dead skin cells from the skin's surface might get into the product, so it's best to use it up quickly. Because of this, it would be difficult to share the product with others.
TipWhen the product wasn't coming out well, I rolled it on the back of my hand, tapping it gently until it started dispensing.

It's convenient as it's built-in. However, I recommend using it after applying cream. There is an ampoule, but unlike typical ampoules we're familiar with, it has a lighter texture! It feels more like a thin toner, so rather than using it for night care, I suggest applying plenty of ampoule with the roller before makeup and massaging with the gua sha - it seems to refine facial contours! The scent is rosy, which might be hit or miss for those who don't particularly enjoy floral fragrances. 💛 Overall, I'm pleased with it! I had been considering buying a gua sha tool, so I'm happy it's included.
ConsThe price is a bit disappointing... If it were slightly more affordable, I'd be more inclined to purchase it. Be gentle when massaging, as applying too much pressure can cause irritation and potentially lead to blemishes!
TipBesides the ampoule, it would be great to use this with your own creams or oils that you have at home when doing gua sha!
