In May of last year, I purchased this product and have been using it for about a year. My personal color is deep and strong autumn. I prefer a natural and subtle makeup style, so I've never used products like Benefit, Stella, Clinique, blush, and highlighter that create an artificial, pink-toned look. However, I accidentally received this as a gift from my boyfriend and tried it out. My opinion completely changed after using this product! This product does not have a tacky, shimmery look, but rather creates a subtle, sophisticated, and elegant vibe. It's not too much and still maintains a natural appearance on my skin. I started with a Dior product, but I don't think I'll even bother looking at other products anymore. I wish there was a mirror attached. The palette is also quite large, so if there was a mirror that fit the size, it would be absolutely perfect. Applying powder before makeup is an essential step, isn't it?! - yu*****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 4, 2025
I snagged a great duty-free deal in Japan, getting <Shade 01 Universal> for just under 50,000 won. As my first highlighter, it's really set the bar high! It gives off a luxurious glow that just flows beautifully. Apply the white shade on your nose and the pink on your cheeks, and you've got your highlighter and blush sorted. The brown shade in the bottom right is perfect for contouring - it's impossibly pretty. Even though I have a cool complexion, I was torn between this and <Shade 04 Rose Gold>, but after trying them on, I chose 01 without hesitation. While I'm a bit cautious about it breaking in my makeup bag, the case is surprisingly sturdy, which is great. The regular price makes me shudder, so I absolutely recommend grabbing it duty-free if you can. - 8p********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 7, 2025
The pigmentation is fantastic and the glow is absolutely stunning. Once you try this, you'll never want to use anything else. Personally, I find the glow even more beautiful than rose gold. If you prefer a natural color, go for rose gold. But if you're after that dazzling, radiant glow, buy this one - you won't regret it. The particles are so fine and smooth. It's a shame that I don't use the color in the bottom right at all. Other than that, no complaints. The white color is perfect for the bridge of the nose. Apply the pink color as a blush on your cheeks and it looks incredibly beautiful - I almost want to keep it all to myself! The color in the top right is great for mixing when your makeup look doesn't suit pure white or pink tones. - hy*********Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2025
The glow is truly clear and refined... The particles are so fine that pores are barely accentuated. It's not at all a dull, powdery highlighter, but rather it shimmers subtly when the light hits. I apply the top left color to my nose bridge and tip with a small natural hair brush, and no matter how much I layer, there's no base makeup cracking or heavy feeling. It doesn't add a white cast, just a bit more glow, which is perfect (like that pretty, slightly dewy look a few hours after applying makeup). Mixing the top two shades creates an even more natural effect. The bottom left pink shade is great for under eyes, eyelids, above the lip, and cheekbones. I initially thought I'd never use the bottom right bronze shade, but surprisingly, it's become a go-to for subtle, barely-there makeup looks. Despite being a light undertone that usually clashes with brown in cosmetics, clothes, or bags, I'm using this one a lot. For those struggling with bronze, try mixing the bottom two colors (leaning more towards pink) for eye makeup... The fine particles create a beautiful, subtle shimmer eyeshadow effect. I debated between Rose Gold and Universal, but chose this one for the top left white shade, and I have zero regrets. Many days, I complete both eye makeup and highlighting with just this palette. The price is a bit steep... Personally, I think it would be really great if it were around $50 for the small amount. I have no other complaints about the product itself. - ro*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 25, 2025
First off, the luminosity is insane! When you mix the white and pink shades, the radiance is... absolutely mind-blowing. It's like you could glow from 500 meters away. And there's no excess powder flying around at all. It's just so, so beautiful! Hmm... I find myself not reaching for it as often as I thought I would. And it's quite pricey... If you can, definitely pick this up at a duty-free shop to save some money. - fl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 5, 2024
Luxurious glow without emphasizing pores due to its fine particles! The brown shade works great as an eyeshadow, while the neutral color is perfect for aegyo-sal (under-eye area) and the bridge of the nose. The pink shade makes a lovely blush. It's a must-have! If I had to pick something, maybe the price? But you use so little that it'll last ages. So actually, it's worth every penny. You really should get it! - wo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2024
The color is absolutely gorgeous, and the shimmer looks so luxurious. The way the pearls spread out is perfect for cool-toned skin. It would have been nice to have one contour shade. I feel like it would be even more worthwhile if it came as a set with both a highlighter and a blush. The brush with slightly thicker bristles is really nice to use. - ys****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 1, 2024
The powder has a fine texture and gives a natural glow when applied to the face! It doesn't really settle into pores and looks absolutely beautiful. I suppose the price might be an issue...? To be honest, I can't really think of any specific drawbacks. - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 2, 2024
* Yellow shade 21, warm deep undertone I finally got my hands on the famous 04 Rose Gold color after it was sold out for months! I managed to snag it when it came back in stock a few weeks ago. The Dior Backstage Highlighter truly set the standard for the original 'glass skin' highlighter. Its quality is absolutely unmatched. This is a highlighter that truly deserves the name. The light reflection is so beautiful, especially the bronze shade in the bottom right - it's gorgeous even as a single eyeshadow color. If you're a highlighter enthusiast, this is a must-have. Among the Backstage highlighters, this one gives the closest effect to that coveted 'glass skin' glow. For those trying the Backstage highlighter for the first time, while 01 Universal is nice, I'd recommend 04 Rose Gold as a more versatile option. However, if you're after a dazzling, show-stopping radiance, this product might be more suitable. (This is in comparison to the four Dior Backstage highlighters...) There are rumors that this might be discontinued, but I'm hoping they're not true. I'd love to see them create highlighters in blue, gray, and light green pearl shades too! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesRecommendedJun 11, 2024
The fine particles give a dewy, luminous feel when applied to the skin. It glides on smoothly and absorbs well. Definitely worth the price! I wish it were more affordable so I could stock up. The high price is a bit disappointing.
