  • A soothing, hydrating toner that's gentle on the skin It's mild enough to use as an exfoliating toner, but it's also great when sprayed like a mist after cleansing - it feels refreshing and calms the skin well. What I found most satisfying was its texture. It's not sticky at all due to its non-viscous formula, yet it doesn't dry out the skin, making it perfect as a basic hydrating toner. I tend to have deep dryness, but this toner provided deep hydration without leaving any residue on the skin. Its clean yet moisturizing finish makes it ideal for combination dehydrated skin types like mine!

  As it's a basic hydrating toner, I use other AHA/BHA products for dead skin cell management. Given its effectiveness at such a reasonable price, I'm using it without any particular complaints.

  I initially overlooked Skinfood's Carrot Water Pad when it was all the rage, but I finally gave in and tried the toner from the same line when it went on sale. It's perfect for winter and seasonal transitions when skin tends to get dry and flaky. The moisturizing formula works great as an exfoliating toner, quickly hydrating and soothing the skin. I find myself reaching for it more often than lighter toners. It seems tailor-made for combination dehydrated skin. After using it as an exfoliating toner for the first time, I understood why the Water Pad was so popular. I'd recommend this toner to anyone looking for hydration, moisture, and soothing effects without any stickiness.
