Because of this, I often used them like a cream mask. I'd apply a generous amount of nourishing cream all over my face, then place these toner pads on top to lock in the moisture and prevent evaporation. The idea was that covering the nourishing cream with these pads would help retain the oil and moisture balance better. You know how those plastic wrap masks were trendy for a while?
