  Pros

  The texture is soft and powdery. It's a unique feel, like fine sand or a gentle scrub. It feels great when you massage it in. Even a tiny amount creates rich microfoam, which gets even more luxurious when you add water. Compared to other cleansing foams, you need much less product to create abundant lather, so it lasts much longer! Plus, the scent is lovely - it reminds me of Skinfood products from back in the day, with a delicious, nutty multi-grain aroma.

  Cons

  The volume seems small for the price. The walnut shell particles are so finely ground that they don't effectively manage blackheads, pores, or sebum. No matter how much I massage, the sebum doesn't come out. After rinsing, blackheads and sebum remain stubbornly in place. The alkaline cleanser also leaves that typical filmy dead skin residue, especially around the nose area. It's quite drying... While it does leave a refreshing clean feeling, as if all the impurities have been washed away, it falls short in many functional aspects.

  Tip

  A product that those with very oily skin might love? If your face is extremely greasy, this could be perfect for you. As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, it was too drying for me. I bought it in winter, but maybe I should have waited to use it in summer. After cleansing, I apply a rich nourishing cream generously to help combat any flakiness or dryness while using this product.
