Purchased in fall 2024, I've been using it consistently since January. I absolutely love the texture, scent, and effectiveness of this product. The only downside might be the price. But I like it so much that I'm planning to buy it again! - lo**********Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 8, 2025
Though it's pricey, it's perfect for someone like me who gets chapped lips easily. I've been using it for years. It has almost no scent and absorbs well into the skin. The price is a bit high, and having to use your hands to apply it is a drawback. - im*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 14, 2024
I have extremely dry lips, so I'm always using lip balms. I've tried all the highly recommended ones, but even after applying something at night, my lips were still dry in the morning. However, since using the La Mer lip balm, my lips have become truly comfortable! Seeing my cracked and inflamed lips calm down overnight... It's amazing. This product has become my go-to for nighttime lip care. The downsides are the price and the fact that it comes in a jar, which can be inconvenient. I wonder if the formula is too thick for a tube type? - ph****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 16, 2024
It's a lip balm that feels refreshing, keeps your lips moisturized for a long time, and is highly recommended! There's nothing really disappointing about it... Maybe just that it's colorless? It's great for use at home, but for wearing with makeup, I'm not so sure. - zi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2024
A texture that's not too sticky or slippery, with a sweet minty flavor It doesn't seem to suit me. It feels moisturizing at first, but over time my skin becomes drier and rougher with more dead skin cells appearing. It may not work for everyone, so think carefully before purchasing - fl******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 19, 2024
The hydration lasts incredibly long, and when applied, there's a slight minty sensation (it actually feels cooling). However, the scent is vanilla. It's quite expensive. Apart from the price, the only downside is... the shape of the container? But considering you get 9g, the amount is manageable (when you think about the quantity, it's not outrageously expensive). I use a spatula to scoop out the product. It's pricey, and I don't like how the lip balm itself melts on my hands. - ad**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 16, 2024
The best lip balm I've ever used. It's not just a greasy lip balm that makes your lips shiny. This one truly softens the skin and quickly removes dead skin cells, leaving your lips incredibly smooth. While the price and the fact that you need to scoop it out are slight drawbacks, I still highly recommend it despite these minor issues. It quickly softens even chapped lips. For best results, apply the balm, then hold a warm, damp gauze on your lips. Afterwards, use a cotton swab to gently exfoliate - it removes dead skin cells perfectly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2024
True to La Mer's reputation, even their lip balm is healing. I'm someone whose lips are cracked and bleeding for 330 out of 365 days a year. I've tried every moisturizing lip balm out there - Vaseline, Laneige Lip Mask, Sisley lip balm, you name it. A friend, seeing how severe my lip condition was, gave me a small amount of La Mer lip balm to try. After applying it before bed, I woke up the next morning to find my wounds had closed up. My lips, which wouldn't heal even with ointments and kept reopening, were miraculously healed overnight by La Mer's lip balm. I immediately bought it with my own money. It's inconvenient and wasteful to use outside since you have to scoop it out with your finger and then wipe off the excess on your hands somewhere. It's such an expensive product that it feels like a shame to wipe any of it on a tissue. Apply it with the tip of your fingernail to avoid getting it under your nails. - sd********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 26, 2024
This product would make a wonderful gift! I received it as a present and found it perfect for daily use. While the price is admittedly the most disappointing aspect, I haven't yet found a suitable alternative that can match it. - bl********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 10, 2024
This is the lip balm of my dreams... It's slightly tinted, which I love. I want to make this my go-to product. The price... La Mer, aren't you being a bit too expensive? It brings tears to my eyes... Apply a generous amount before bed for a sweet, restful sleep!
