Given the nature of soap, I wonder if it might be slightly acidic, which was a bit disappointing. It could be a little drying for those with extremely dry skin.

You know how everyone's using low pH cleansers these days, right? I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, so I've always stuck to gentle, low pH cleansers.

While low pH cleansers are less irritating, I always felt like my skin wasn't thoroughly cleansed after washing, and they didn't help control excess oil.

After using this Houttuynia Cordata soap for about two weeks, my acne has significantly calmed down and my textured skin has greatly improved! I plan to purchase this product myself once I finish the one I received from the event.

I highly recommend this to those struggling with acne, oily skin, or combination dehydrated skin!

It comes with a handy mesh bag for storage, which you can conveniently hang in your bathroom. For an extra rich lather, try rubbing the soap inside the mesh bag under water - it creates an amazingly abundant foam that's a joy to use.

For an extra pampering experience, I sometimes leave the rich lather on my skin for 1-2 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. This seems to help balance oil without causing any deep dryness, leaving my skin feeling exceptionally clean.

This product alone might struggle with heavy eye makeup removal. I found it works best when I use an eye makeup remover first, then follow up with a generous lather of this cleanser for a thorough cleanse.

Without a foam net, the soap produces a very soft, mild lather. I highly recommend using a foam net with this product.
