I usually use shade 21 for cushions and foundations. True to its name, this palette has colors that are perfect for warm skin tones. (The actual shades have a slightly pinker undertone than in the photo. The product matches the color information exactly.) • Light Brown works great as an eyeshadow base on my lids. It's a good neutral shade that's not too bright. • Soft Brown is excellent for nose contouring. It's neither too red nor too ashy, allowing for a natural-looking contour. The color builds gradually, making it easy to control and blend. • Warm Brown is ideal for jaw and forehead contouring. It also works well mixed with Soft Brown for a more intense nose contour when needed.
ConsI haven't found any major drawbacks yet... If I had to nitpick, I'd say the pan size is a bit small for jaw contouring if you're using a contour brush. But it's not a big issue since the colors blend well with each other.
TipThis palette pairs exceptionally well with nose contouring brushes. I'd definitely repurchase this with my own money once I've used it up.

All three shades are subtle and not overpowering, making it easy for beauty beginners like me to apply makeup comfortably! There's no excess powder fallout. It allows for shadow contouring without any redness. When it comes to color cosmetics, Dasique really delivers!
ConsThe only thing that could be improved is if they sold it as a set with a brush or recommended a compatible brush to use with it.
TipI usually use Dasique's Chocolate Fudge eyeshadow palette, and when I combine it with the V-Cut Blending Shading, I can create a beautifully deep and alluring contour! For the jawline, using an appropriate shading brush to blend creates a natural makeup look!

But I got curious about other options out there. So, I applied for The Hwahae Testers event and tried the Daisy Creme contour. Let me share my thoughts, comparing it to the product I've been using! Texture: When I touched it, the powder felt incredibly fine - like velvet! It adhered evenly to my brush, making it easy to apply smoothly on my face. Color: Personally, I preferred the colors to the Too Cool products. Overall, they seemed brighter and less red-toned. The lightest shade, in particular, had much less redness, while the darkest shade seemed similar in depth to Too Cool's medium shade. I was initially concerned if contouring would work well without a darker shade, but it turned out great for my typically light makeup look - very natural! Other points: The color layout, split from the center, made blending a breeze and allowed for even use of all shades. With my previous product, the middle shade always wore out first! Also, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous - it really brightened my mood!
ConsI haven't found any downsides yet. If I think of any later, I'll be sure to add them!

I tried the Dasique V-Cut Blending Shading for the first time. I chose the '01. Warm Blending' shade out of the two options available. The packaging design is sleek and travel-friendly. I love that it's not just a single color, but a combination of three shades that allow you to adjust the level of shadowing. The palette consists of 01. Skin Brown, 02. Soft Brown, and 03. Warm Brown. You can use each shade individually or blend them together. The formula isn't just compressed powder, but a smooth powder type with minimal excess. It blends seamlessly on the face without clumping, creating a subtle effect. It's not a contour that looks obvious, but rather melts into your complexion like a natural shadow. Even with multiple layers, it doesn't leave any patchy areas on the face, which is great.
ConsThe color payoff is a bit on the lighter side, so those who prefer a more intense contour might not like it. It's disappointing that despite being a vegan product, it still contains talc.
TipFor my nose bridge, I mixed shades 1 and 2. For the aegyo sal (under-eye area), I blended shades 2 and 3. For my jawline, I combined all three colors. This technique brought life to my previously flat facial contours and gave the illusion of a slimmer jawline, which is one of my complexes.

It felt like unwrapping a gift, with such thoughtful packaging. The color payoff was beautifully subtle. The natural shades make it perfect for those who aren't makeup pros – you can easily achieve a flawless contour. I loved how it eliminated any redness, leaving a warm brown tone that sits beautifully on top of your base. With three different shades to play with, you can mix and match to your heart's content. I found that using the darker shade on my jawline and the sides of my nose, while blending the lighter and medium shades on the bridge, created a gorgeous, dimensional contour. I'm truly satisfied with the results!
ConsThe pigmentation is quite sheer, so you'll need to build it up if you want that 'chiseled' look. If you're into more dramatic makeup, you might find the subtle color payoff a bit disappointing. The price point is higher than your average contour product, and I couldn't help but wonder if the fancy packaging was driving up the cost. While it would make a lovely gift, it feels a bit pricey for a personal splurge.
TipIf you're a fan of natural, 'no-makeup' makeup looks, you'll likely fall in love with this product! For those who prefer more defined contours, you may need to apply multiple layers to achieve your desired intensity.

First off, the packaging is absolutely stunning! The product itself is gorgeous, and the lightest shade, 'Skin Brown,' is personally my favorite shading color ever! The product details are top-notch! (You know how amazing their eyeshadow palettes are in terms of details, right?) It has a subtle color payoff, and there's absolutely zero powder clumping (that's the best part!) There are three shades: Skin Brown, Soft Brown, and Warm Brown. They all look natural, so contouring experts can achieve a seamless look. As someone who used to feel messy with shading, I highly, highly recommend this product! I'll add more if anything comes to mind. +Update after 2 months of using Dasique shading: Once I got the hang of it, I achieved a nose contour. And it's a pretty one at that. Stick with Dasique for life!
ConsSince I've only used it for a day and only tried nose contouring, I don't have any complaints yet. If I absolutely had to nitpick, it would be the 'subtle color payoff'. Even the Soft Brown shade itself doesn't have outstanding pigmentation, so I found myself applying multiple layers.
TipAs a makeup beginner, I don't dare to offer any pro tips. If I come up with any, I'll make sure to add them later.
