I'm writing this review based on my personal purchase and use of the product. After exclusively using Too Cool for School shading products, I switched to Daisy'c because the former always seemed to break apart towards the end. I use the darker shade for jaw contouring and the lighter one for nose contouring. What I appreciate about this product is its minimal excess and how it's comfortable to use without feeling heavy. I'm quite satisfied with it. I definitely plan to repurchase. I wish there were more color options available beyond shades 1 and 2. - be*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 31, 2025
I dropped it so many times but it didn't break!! It also absorbs well and doesn't seem to have much excess powder. It's not too intense, making it perfect for nose contouring! For me, with warm undertones, the color is quite noticeable - a bit of an obvious brown? It shows up a bit when contouring the T-zone! Also, if you use your fingers, the contoured area tends to clump... I saw this in a video - when contouring the side of your nose, if you do it in a straight line, you can see the line from the side, right?!! So if you gently brush it downwards towards the front of your cheeks, under your eyes, it won't be noticeable from the side. Such a great tip! By the way, for nose contouring, I highly recommend a fluffy milli brush! - mm********Dry SkinRecommendedJan 19, 2025
Among all the contouring products I've tried, this one has the least excess powder fallout, which I really appreciate. Plus, the quantity you get is generous! The price point is a bit on the higher side, which is somewhat disappointing. - dg*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2025
It's great for contouring the jawline. I use the warm blending shade for the jaw and the cool blending shade for nose contouring. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, and it's so reliable that I've been using it for years. There wasn't a single thing I found disappointing, so I'll likely repurchase it next time. - re*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 14, 2024
While I'm not a huge fan of this brand in general, this product is one of the few I genuinely enjoy using from their line. It's perfect for those who don't suit heavy contouring or are just starting out with contouring techniques. The powder has minimal excess and applies thinly for a natural-looking color payoff. There's not really anything to complain about. Personally, I use the lightest and medium shades more often than the darkest one, so I wonder if they could have adjusted the color ratios a bit. - tj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedOct 23, 2024
I loved that there was no excess powder and the color wasn't too bold or too light. It shows up well on my skin tone, which is around shade 22. The large quantity is a plus! Those with a complexion of shade 23 or darker might find the color a bit too subtle. - ma********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesAug 24, 2024
I bought this because the packaging was so pretty. The reviews said it looked natural, so I decided to give it a try. It's so natural that it's barely visible. If you're used to Two Cool products, this will seem like you're not wearing anything at all. - dl*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2024
It blends naturally and contours beautifully!! I bought it on a YouTuber's recommendation and I'm so glad I made the switch. It looks natural and I highly recommend it for warm skin tones. It seems to leave a bit of an oily residue. The large size means it'll last a while, but I'm not sure how to deal with the excess oil before applying. Highly recommended for warm or muted skin tones. It contours more naturally than other brands. - dh*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 6, 2024
As someone with clumsy hands, I often struggle with product application, especially when I'm in a rush. With other products, it's obvious I've applied shading. However, this product has a subtle color payoff, making it perfect for beginners like me. No need to worry about obvious application! The three well-balanced colors allow me to choose based on area and preference. I also love the simple yet attractive design. I've been using it as a contour eyeshadow too, which makes it quite versatile. There's nothing particularly bad, but I wish it were a bit more affordable! Don't limit yourself to just contouring. This product works great as a warm-toned base or as a contour eyeshadow too. - ct********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 11, 2024
For skin tone 21 / using shade 1 Warm Blending ⭐️Advantages 1. Minimal excess I was surprised by how little powder flies around when using this. It's almost non-existent (though this might just be my experience). It's clear they paid attention to this aspect during development. 2. Subtle color payoff This can be an advantage for beginners. The color intensity is lighter compared to other products. As someone who's not exactly a contouring expert, I found this easier to apply. 3. Color range The shades seem well-suited for warm undertones. As someone who prefers natural-looking makeup, it was just the right intensity for me. 4. Packaging The case thickness is just right, making it perfect to carry in your makeup pouch. Unfortunately, mine has now completely shattered... sigh! ⭐️Disadvantages 1. Subtle color payoff 1-1 While I mentioned earlier that it's easier for beginners to use, it might not suit those who prefer a more intense contour. Why, you ask? Because the color payoff is on the lighter side. 1-2 Due to the subtle pigmentation, even the darkest shade might not work well for those with deeper complexions. My skin tone is 21, which isn't particularly dark, but even the darkest shade didn't apply very intensely. However, this is just my subjective opinion, so feel free to disregard it.
