It's a serum with a consistency that's not too thin and has a slightly tangy scent. Right after application, you might think it's moisturizing, but it dries quickly. Once dry, it feels like there's a slightly stiff coating on the skin. They say it's effective for removing dead skin cells, but I'm not quite sure about that. The tangy scent is quite sharp and lingers even after a while. Also, it gives a strange, tight feeling to the face. If you have dry skin, you absolutely need to apply a thick layer of cream after using this. As someone with super sensitive skin, I experienced slight redness and a burning sensation. - wb****Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2025
This seems great to use when your skin feels rough. It's really effective at removing dead skin cells without any irritation. The next day after using it, my skin felt incredibly smooth - I was pleasantly surprised! I think it would be perfect to use when you want to revitalize your skin texture. It makes your skin feel so soft and velvety. There's a very slight tingling sensation when you first apply it, but it became fine as I continued to use it. - cu******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 11, 2024
I bought this after reading it's great for managing dead skin cells. They say it exfoliates just by applying, so I use it once a week. When I put it on, it really tingles, which makes me feel like it's effectively working on those dead skin cells. The tingling sensation is a bit scary, so I'm hesitant to use it frequently. You really need to psych yourself up to apply it. - q2***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 1, 2024
I like that it's not irritating to the skin. It's great that it's not difficult to apply on your own. The amount is quite small compared to the price. I suppose you get what you pay for with the higher cost. - wi*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2024
I've always had trouble with exfoliating on my own. It would leave my cheeks red and my skin stinging when I applied skincare products. Strangely, when I got it done at an esthetic salon, my skin was fine. Even with the same products, I'd get sensitive when doing it myself. After quitting the salon, I didn't exfoliate for over a year or two. During that time, I only visited a salon once a year in summer. My skin actually improved a lot, and I only went when I had a bad breakout of milia. I didn't do any packages or anything like that. People's opinions on exfoliation really differ. Honestly, for those with super sensitive skin, I think it's better to cleanse with a mildly alkaline foam cleanser once or twice a week in the evening to remove makeup and excess oil, which helps with sebum control. That's what I've been doing. But come summer, my forehead always breaks out in milia, so I tried a sample of this product before buying. At first, I wasn't sure if it was working, but after using it several times, I noticed it was actually exfoliating. Amazingly, my skin feels soft the next morning when I wash my face. I only get milia on my forehead, so I use this 1-2 times a week in the evening after cleansing and toning, just on that area. I love that it absorbs without needing to rub it in. I also apply a bit on my nose for sebum control, and it makes it feel super soft. The only downside is that the amount isn't very large, but honestly, you only need to use a drop or two, so it should last a while. There's a slight tingling sensation, but it disappears quickly and isn't severe. After applying other skincare products and waiting a few minutes, it feels fine. However, for those with extremely sensitive skin, if the tingling persists and bothers you, I was told to wash it off after 1-2 minutes. Use it like a serum, applying just a drop or two and letting it absorb. Some people use a brush to spread it, but I think even that can irritate the skin, so I just use my hands to spread a small amount and let it absorb. After applying, I leave it for 1-2 minutes before continuing with other skincare products. Sometimes I use it before a mask to increase absorption! For sensitive skin, I think this absorbing type is much better than the kind you have to rub in and wash off. - eh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2024
I bought this esthetic product during a group buy. After getting a Lala Peel at the dermatologist, I was looking for something with LHA ingredients and found this Santé Peel Serum. I use it about once every three days. The price? And I wish it only had 4th generation LHA ingredients. Consider getting it during a group buy for a better deal. - se******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2023
A gentle product that doesn't cause irritation. My skin is super sensitive and often reacts badly to peeling gels, but this one has never caused any issues. I really appreciate that! While it's nice that it's gentle, I'm not sure if it's actually effective at exfoliating. I tried the Sante Azulene Soothing Gel at an esthetic salon and loved it, so I bought various Sante products. However, I can't really tell if this one is doing much in terms of exfoliation. - en*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2023

I have high standards for satisfaction and tend to write critical reviews! Among the Santé products I own, this is the most satisfying one! It's a serum that gently removes dead skin cells, giving a similar effect to the famous Larafil treatment at dermatology clinics! Those who've tried Larafil know that it's promoted to remove sebum while filling the skin with moisture - and that's exactly the feeling you'll get with this product. Using it 2-3 times a week is perfect for achieving that radiant, refined skin texture. The effectiveness of this product can vary dramatically depending on your skin condition! Sometimes it seems incredibly good, while other times you might not notice any effect... It's that kind of product! For a special at-home treatment, use a Picasso brush to gently sweep the product across your skin, just like they do at dermatology clinics!
