When using this waxing product, unlike with heated waxing, my sensitive skin didn't turn red or feel that tingling sensation (there was a slight pink tint, but no discomfort). It's so convenient compared to the hassle of constantly heating wax. This product is perfect for easy use on the upper lip, eyebrows, and fingers. I don't have any particular complaints. However, I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin that reacts noticeably to any cosmetic product. For areas requiring precision like eyebrows, cutting the strips lengthwise works great for a clean wax! It's best to store the wax strips in a cool place. When peeling off the packaging, do it quickly to ensure the wax stays on the paper. If you mess up, just reattach the plastic and paper, then try again. - on******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 18, 2024
1. You can easily remove hair at home, though it does require some skill. 2. If done monthly, you'll notice a gradual reduction in hair growth. 1. If used incorrectly, it can be incredibly painful! I've experienced redness and stinging for a whole week. There were times when my skin got torn and bled. However, once you master the technique, nothing beats its convenience. Now that I'm proficient, it's unbeatable! 2. Doing it alone makes it challenging to achieve a clean hair removal. Trying to get a smooth finish by applying twice only irritates the skin without removing stubborn hairs... If you want thorough hair removal, I'd recommend laser treatments. As a student on a budget, this is my best option. 1. It's crucial to cleanse your face and apply a moisturizing cream before starting. Trust me, this makes it painless. 2. Key steps: First, apply the strip firmly in the direction of hair growth, from top to bottom. You'll see a shadow where it's applied - that's the area it'll remove hair from. When properly applied, grip the bottom and pull upwards quickly. Don't peel slowly, remove it in one swift motion. It won't hurt if you've moisturized, I promise. Immediately after removal, press the area with your hand for about 30-60 seconds to soothe it. Don't let go during this time. This method ensures clean removal without residue. Use cleansing oil or milk to remove any stickiness. 3. Finishing touches: Some say the gel provided helps soothe, but I'm not convinced. Instead, I use Tocovo's lip mask. When I once used the wrong technique and my skin got inflamed, the gel didn't help at all. But the lip mask soothed the irritation and provided hydration. (Though I'm not sure if it's meant for this use!) Apply the lip mask only at night as it's quite glossy. Also, don't forget to moisturize with toner. I figured this out on my own since no one taught me. Hope this helps someone!
