Pros
I've been getting millet acne constantly, and my skin has been really rough and terrible. But when I looked into it, they said it's because the skin barrier is compromised... So I bought what seems to be the most famous skin barrier cream. After using it consistently for about 4 days, the millet acne really went down...And the acne scars were severe, but the healing was really fast, so I'm really happy! It's a holy grail product for me. The texture is rich, and I absorbed it by gently pressing it into my skin with my hands. My skin type is combination, leaning oily, but even in the winter, using it with a slightly oily toner wasn't a problem! But when the weather got warmer, using them together made my skin way too oily...It's a bit heavy for daily use, and the price is high, so I plan to only use it when my skin barrier is compromised.

I switched over from using Avene SOS. The spreadability is better than Balmtime, so it absorbs better than thick products. It has a similar feeling to a steroid ointment, so there is a sticky sensation, but it was the best as a night cream. My skin became irritated, with redness and stinging, and nothing I applied could soothe it and it was dry. But after applying it in small amounts and layering it a few times, it healed almost completely without needing the ointment prescribed by the hospital.
