At first, I felt some tingling in certain areas. After rinsing, I noticed a bit of discharge from inflamed spots. But then I could feel my skin gradually calming down. The price might be a bit steep when it's not on sale. However, the effectiveness is top-notch, so I plan to keep using it. Initially, some areas might become reddish, but in that case, try reducing the time you leave the foam on. I have dry skin with atopy and redness on my face. I discovered this product through a Naver cafe and initially purchased it on Naver. When I saw it was also available on Hwahae, I decided to buy more. Unlike other soaps, this one has only five simple ingredients, which gave me confidence in its quality. To maximize the effectiveness of this product, wet your face first, then use a foam net to create a lather. Apply the foam to your skin as a brief mask for best results. I consistently use this soap in the morning or on days when I'm not wearing makeup. The first photo shows my skin condition in December, and the second is from March. While the U&I soap doesn't prevent skin flare-ups entirely, it seems to reduce their severity and leaves my skin feeling more resilient. Currently, I'm using a routine of Epiceram, Illiyoon Ceramide Emulsion, Dexyane, and oil. I plan to continue using the U&I soap in the future. As a side note, I tried using it on a rash-like outbreak on my back since it worked well on my face. However, it made my back feel itchier and drier. Given that it's a fermented product, I think it's better suited for facial use rather than body application, though some people do use it on their body. Well, the price is a bit higher than regular soap... But it does produce a lot of lather, so it lasts quite a while! To prevent the soap from getting mushy, I move it to a dry area after use. I've been using this soap for 2-3 months. At first, I was skeptical, but with all the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. As they say, consistency is key, and around the 2-week mark, I started seeing results. Now I can't imagine my routine without it! The redness has significantly reduced, and my skin's texture has improved dramatically. Previously, my skin was so clogged with dead skin cells that I barely sweated, but now I'm perspiring normally. My face feels smoother, and the thick layer of dead skin cells has thinned out considerably. Before, I was constantly applying emulsions due to dryness. After using this soap, I barely remember the last time I needed one. It addresses deep dryness and provides hydration. With the itchiness under control, I'm not scratching, and my skin's condition has greatly improved. In summary: - Reduces redness and thins out dead skin cells - Gentle ingredients, perfect for super sensitive skin - Combats dryness and itchiness The only downside is that, being a soap, it does tend to soften with continued use. I suppose that's unavoidable. When you first start using it, you might experience a slight tingling sensation. That's why I preferred applying the lather and rinsing it off immediately, rather than leaving it on for 30 seconds. Some people might experience a temporary worsening of symptoms due to skin purging. I went through this too, but with consistent use at least twice daily, my skin's condition improved significantly. It really goes to show that consistency is key when it comes to skincare!

I didn't mind the scent either. Above all, I felt like it would be better for the environment compared to using other products in plastic containers. The packaging was also simple and pretty. Storage is a bit challenging, as expected with soap. I was concerned about it gradually softening over time. Also, perhaps because my skin is extremely dry, it felt a bit too squeaky clean, which was somewhat uncomfortable for me. My skin was in rough shape during the seasonal change, but it's doing better now. I was searching for an extremely gentle product and luckily came across this tester opportunity, so I applied! 1. The cleansing effectiveness is great!!! I didn't expect much, but the cleansing power... it's even better than regular foam cleansers. Just a little rubbing produces rich lather. I usually double cleanse, but lately I've been feeling lazy, and this alone removes almost everything. I was like 'Wow...' and this 'Wow' wasn't just once or twice. You need to experience it at least three times to truly understand what I mean. 2. The ingredients are great!! I'm trying it because I trust it's gentle. I used it because of the mild ingredients. 3. It brightens... whitening effect Wow, even a whitening effect? I didn't expect that much... After cleansing, my face looks so radiant. It's amazing... 4. The scent is like rice water? Honestly, the fragrance isn't great, but it's much better than added artificial fragrances. For sensitive skin, even fragrance ingredients can cause irritation. 5. Squeaky clean but not at all drying... Amazingly, just a little rubbing produces abundant foam. I thought it might be drying like laundry soap, but it doesn't dry out the skin at all... fascinating... The scent, I suppose? Personally, I don't really care much about fragrance.. There are no other downsides so far. At least not yet! It removes makeup so well that double cleansing isn't necessary (except for heavy color makeup and point makeup). First off, I was touched by the eco-friendly packaging. It's such a high-quality soap that I plan to use it with a foaming net. I've been using it for about 5 days since receiving it, and the dryness after cleansing has significantly reduced! U&I Soap is the best! There wasn't anything particularly bad. However, the price might be a bit steep for a soap.

The scent is nearly fragrance-free, but if I had to compare it to something, it's like a fresh laundry soap smell. While a pleasant fragrance would require additives, that would compromise the quality of ingredients. Personally, I prefer this fragrance-free version. They recommend doing a 30-second foam pack after applying the lather, and when I tried it, I felt it removed impurities more effectively during cleansing. Looking at the ingredients, it seems the calamansi fermented enzyme is responsible for this. Not only is it great for facial cleansing, but the safe ingredients mean I can use it from head to toe without worry. Part of the proceeds goes to help underprivileged children in the Philippines! It's wonderful that simply buying soap can contribute to a good cause. It seems they use natural ingredients produced in the Philippines to support these children. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate that it's made without chemical additives. Perhaps that's why it seems suitable for all skin types. Switching from a cleansing foam to a bar soap form might feel a bit awkward at first. I was surprised by the tingling sensation when I first used it, but the guide mentions this can happen initially. It was fine from the second use onward. Just keep that in mind, and you should be good to go. Overall, I'm satisfied! For thorough cleansing, it seems essential to do the 30-second foam pack before rinsing. If you're looking to try cleansing with a natural soap, this might be a good choice. Use it morning and night for about three days, and if your skin reacts negatively, there's no need to persist. Although it doesn't have many irritating ingredients, it does contain oils, so be cautious if you're sensitive to those. The packaging is lovely, like a gift, and I appreciate the paper wrapping! Initially, there was a slight tingling sensation, which may have caused my skin to react a bit. It's mentioned in the precautions, so it's probably not a major side effect. For my dry skin, it seemed to strip too much moisture, making it somewhat irritating. Perhaps because I usually use a milk cleanser, this felt quite astringent.
