It's great for oily skin types too.
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly disappointing. However, pumping two different products might lead to using them up faster than expected.
TipMy skin tends to develop blemishes when it's too oily, so I'm usually cautious with sunscreens. But I found that applying this lightly with a water cushion and then using a cushion foundation worked well for me.

The package design is incredibly attractive and appealing. 2. I love that it combines two products in one. It's great that you can adjust the ratio according to your preference, allowing for a customized application. 3. It seems perfect for dry skin types. When applied as a makeup base, it provides hydration while evening out the skin tone, creating a great canvas for makeup application!
ConsThe product's large size might be disappointing for those who prefer portability. It would be nice if there were travel-sized versions available, or if the two types were separated into individual products for more flexible use. The brightening effect could be more natural. It tends to make the skin look a bit too white, creating a noticeable contrast between the face and neck.

It applies smoothly with a hydrating feel, not too thick or heavy. 2. Neither drying nor greasy. As someone who often feels dry skin, this product feels less so and isn't oily either, which is great. 3. Evens skin tone. It brightens without leaving a white cast. 4. Can be used as a hybrid sunscreen!!! This might be its best feature!!! It's great how it combines the benefits of both chemical and physical sunscreens, compensating for each other's drawbacks.
ConsIf you apply too much at once, it can appear slightly white. It's better to layer it gradually.

Despite being a brightening moisturizer sunscreen, it doesn't make you look too pale. 2. Being a two-in-one product, it's great for applying selectively on different parts of the face. 3. The transparent container is a plus, as it allows you to see how much product you've used. 4. Although it's a sunscreen, it might work better with a sponge application rather than using your hands. Applying the green one first provides hydration without any deep dryness.
ConsThe pink one has a slightly thick texture, and if the pump nozzle gets clogged, it could be inconvenient. The pumping action is a bit disappointing. For the brightening moisturizer sunscreen on the left, you need to pump several times for the first use to get the product out, while the green sun essence flows out too easily, which is a drawback. The pink brightening moisturizer sunscreen often leaves visible lines on the forehead area.
TipUsing the pink one alone might create visible lines, so it's better to mix it with other products. Rather than mixing the green and pink on the back of your hand, it's more effective to apply your regular skincare, then the sun essence, followed by the brightening moisturizer sunscreen for a better blend.

It beautifully evens skin tone! At first, it absorbs smoothly and feels moisturizing, but it quickly sets to a matte finish, which is perfect to use before makeup. (I mainly used a mix of organic and inorganic sunscreens.) It seems to be greatly influenced by your skincare routine, but when applied to well-hydrated skin, the resulting glow isn't bad at all.
ConsThere's been a lot of talk about the pump. Yes... it's a bit stiff. Sometimes the amount dispensed isn't consistent. And since it's a pump, I'm a bit worried if I'll be able to use it all up to the end. In winter, it might look a tad drying, so it's best to have a solid skincare routine underneath.
TipI mainly use this before makeup, so I mix organic and inorganic sunscreens well. When you do it this way, it provides just the right amount of brightening, making you look radiant!

You have the mineral sunscreen, chemical sunscreen, and the option to mix them for a hybrid sunscreen. This allows you to adjust based on your daily preferences or skin condition. I personally prefer mineral sunscreens, so having this two-in-one option where I can control the ratio is great. Mineral sunscreens can be a bit thick and sometimes leave a white cast that accentuates dead skin cells, but when mixed with the chemical sunscreen, it absorbs beautifully with a moisturizing feel. The chemical sunscreen instantly provides a burst of hydration.
ConsThere weren't any downsides for me. In fact, I'm using it quite happily.
TipI use it as a base, and depending on my skin's condition each day, I mix it in ratios like 1:2 or 1:1.

I was so surprised to be chosen! I've been wanting to try a multi-functional sunscreen, and this one seems to work as both a makeup base and emulsion. It's great for use as a makeup primer or sunscreen. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found it quite hydrating. It's perfect for those with yellowish undertones and doesn't leave the skin feeling dry. This product seems ideal for both winter and summer use. I highly recommend it for combination dehydrated skin types and especially for those with oily skin!
ConsThere wasn't really anything disappointing about it. I'd say it's a solid, reliable product overall.
TipI use it as a replacement for my makeup base or sunscreen. It's also great for a natural, bare-faced look, so I often apply it as a minimal makeup option when I want to go au naturel.

With both sunscreen and brightening moisturizer, it's a base product I reach for frequently. The textures of the two are completely different. When applied, the brightening moisturizer leaves an incredibly powdery finish, while the sunscreen is super hydrating. You can mix them for balanced use or layer them separately. Personally, I prefer applying them separately for better absorption. The brightening moisturizer definitely evens skin tone, and its powdery finish makes it great for summer use. The sunscreen is hydrating, making it perfect for dry days like we're having now. When used alone, it minimizes base makeup pilling. Absolutely approved since it doesn't cause any blemishes on my skin!
ConsThe two products don't blend well together - one is too hydrating while the other is powdery. I recommend applying them separately in the correct order! It takes quite a while to mix the two products. The package is large, making it difficult to carry around. It's more of a product to keep and use at home.

It even had a mild cooling effect. There was a bit of pressure when I first used it, causing some to suddenly squirt out, but aside from that, everything was great! The brightening moisturizer sunscreen had a slightly thicker texture, but it brightened my complexion nicely, so I used it often. This one also had no noticeable scent and absorbed really well. Mixing the two worked wonderfully! You get both the cooling effect and the skin tone evening in one go - that's a win!
ConsI can't really think of any downsides! I didn't experience any blemishes or issues like that.

It was exciting to see this novel packaging concept, and I appreciated not having to carry separate products. Texture - The organic sunscreen had a very thin, hydrating mint-colored formula. Its moisturizing properties were perfect for my dry winter skin. The mineral sunscreen had a powdery texture with a salmon or apricot hue. As I have oily skin, I used more of the powdery mineral sunscreen. Longevity - It's hard to gauge the staying power of the organic sunscreen due to its hydrating nature. For the mineral sunscreen, I tested it before work and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike some powdery sunscreens that can feel sticky or uncomfortable when oil emerges, this one remained comfortable. Compared to Dr.G, this seemed to last longer. Even after an 8-hour shift, it was still intact when I got home! I love using it for a natural, 'no-makeup makeup' look due to its great staying power and apricot tint. Blemishes - Initially, I was concerned it might cause breakouts, but I'm thrilled to report it didn't cause any blemishes and I'm extremely satisfied with this product!
ConsScent - It has a slight baby powder or 'mom's makeup' fragrance, which I personally don't enjoy. I wish it were unscented. Hybrid sunscreen - While it's possible to mix the organic and mineral sunscreens, I found they don't blend well due to their different textures - one being thin and the other powdery. I'd recommend using them separately instead of mixing.
