1. Price It's at a price point where you think 'Maybe I should give it a try?' - accessible and tempting! 2. Texture While powder usually mattifies and removes glow, this one feels thin when applied with fingers, yet still retains some of the moisture and glow from previously applied products! 1. Longevity During seasonal changes, it lasts from 9 AM to 1 PM, but it doesn't completely control oil production 2. Puff The included puff is somewhat subpar... 3. Size While the amount of product isn't small, the compact itself is on the smaller side, making application a bit fiddly. Applying sunscreen + this powder compact before heading to work helps even out pores and complexion to some extent, and it's incredibly convenient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 30, 2025
•Easy and convenient to use •The plastic case is reversible, which is great •The white puff makes it hard to see if powder is coming out •The puff is not very good •Feels less value for money compared to other Daiso powders •Recommend using a different puff or brush instead of the included one - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2025
It doesn't make your face look unnaturally white when applied! I love that it only gets a bit oily on the forehead, but when you pat it in, it's not noticeable. There's so much excess powder... The puff isn't great either. And there's this transparent plastic cap thing - I wish it could open and close instead. It just pops right off, which is really frustrating. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 13, 2024
Skin type: Combination, with oil production in overdrive due to the heat. [Fine Texture] I was pleasantly surprised by how fine the powder particles are. It adheres evenly to the brush and applies in a thin, smooth layer. This was truly unexpected. [Accessibility] The price point is an incredible advantage. The fact that it's available at Daiso is another big plus. It's not just good for its price - it's genuinely good regardless of the cost. [Oil Control] From a combination skin perspective, it controls oil well without causing dryness. Size] It might seem unreasonable to ask for more given the low price, but the pan is too small. It's inconvenient to use with a brush or puff. [Longevity] While it looks great initially, it doesn't last very long. It seems better suited for touch-ups. A brush works better than a puff. Gently patting it on with a brush gives good results. It seems more suitable for fall or late summer rather than the height of summer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 28, 2023
For just $5, the quality is pretty impressive! The included puff isn't great. There's a bit of excess powder that flies around. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 25, 2023
I decided to ditch my usual powder and try this instead, with the mindset of 'let's embrace my real skin'. Surprisingly, it's not bad at covering pores. I originally bought it to control hair greasiness, but it also does a good job at controlling oil on my face. That being said, I'm not entirely convinced yet. It doesn't seem to distribute evenly on the puff, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 30, 2023
The compact is only 5000 won, which is a great value for money. While the plastic separator for the puff and powder isn't integrated, it's not particularly inconvenient. I really like the scent of the powder. The puff feels like a cheap sponge. Its light color makes it hard to tell if there's powder on it. (Update) The puff is really disappointing - it seems to absorb the powder without releasing it. I want to replace it. When applying the powder, it feels slippery rather than velvety. This is new to me, so I'm not sure, but while it doesn't leave an oily residue, it has this strange slippery texture. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMar 20, 2023
It's soft and easy to control the amount. The case is durable and of good quality. The separator between the puff and powder is awkwardly designed. Unlike cushion compacts that flip 180 degrees, you have to take it out and put it back in, which makes it difficult to use.
