It perfectly controls oiliness and gives a subtle brightening effect, about 0.3 shades lighter... Looks natural There wasn't anything to complain about! I bought it last year and I'm still using it this year, even repurchased it - al**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJun 14, 2025
As someone with oily skin, powder is an essential final step in my base makeup routine. For just 5000 won, this product is truly impressive! It leaves my skin feeling velvety smooth, and I haven't experienced any blemishes. I'm still happily using this powder to this day. The puff that came with the product was a bit disappointing. It felt slightly irritating and applied too thickly, so I've replaced it with a Peripera powder puff instead. Despite the minor issue with the original puff, this affordable powder offers great value for money, especially for those with oily skin types looking for a mattifying finish without causing breakouts. - rl**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 4, 2025
I've been using this consistently since I was in 8th grade, and now I'm a high school senior with extremely oily skin. It's far better than anything I've bought from Olive Young. This powder truly gives the ultimate matte finish. The scent is pleasant, and once you apply it, your skin stays perfectly matte, eliminating the need for multiple applications. If you apply a bit more, it can make your skin look slightly pale, but it actually gives a nice soft focus effect. I highly recommend anyone with very oily skin to give this a try. When you first open and use it, the powder can feel a bit gritty, but this grittiness disappears over time, so it's not a big issue. As you use it, you'll notice that the center gets used up faster, leaving product only on the sides. While this can be slightly inconvenient, you can still use the remaining product without much trouble. - xo*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 18, 2025
1. Price It's at a price point where you think 'Maybe I should give it a try?' - accessible and tempting! 2. Texture While powder usually mattifies and removes glow, this one feels thin when applied with fingers, yet still retains some of the moisture and glow from previously applied products! 1. Longevity During seasonal changes, it lasts from 9 AM to 1 PM, but it doesn't completely control oil production 2. Puff The included puff is somewhat subpar... 3. Size While the amount of product isn't small, the compact itself is on the smaller side, making application a bit fiddly. Applying sunscreen + this powder compact before heading to work helps even out pores and complexion to some extent, and it's incredibly convenient. - ji*******Combination SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 30, 2025
•Easy and convenient to use •The plastic case is reversible, which is great •The white puff makes it hard to see if powder is coming out •The puff is not very good •Feels less value for money compared to other Daiso powders •Recommend using a different puff or brush instead of the included one - go*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJan 22, 2025
It doesn't make your face look unnaturally white when applied! I love that it only gets a bit oily on the forehead, but when you pat it in, it's not noticeable. There's so much excess powder... The puff isn't great either. And there's this transparent plastic cap thing - I wish it could open and close instead. It just pops right off, which is really frustrating. - ch*********Dry SkinRecommendedDec 22, 2024
This is my holy grail powder... How does it apply so thinly? It truly feels like it's only a 0.5 layer thick. It makes a chalk-like sound in the container, but when you apply it, you can hear a soft rustling sound where the powder touches your skin. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a lid or cover. Still, for just 5000 won, this is an incredible value. This product works so well even with careless application that you don't really need any special tips for using it. - ke*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2024
Skin type: Combination, with oil production in overdrive due to the heat. [Fine Texture] I was pleasantly surprised by how fine the powder particles are. It adheres evenly to the brush and applies in a thin, smooth layer. This was truly unexpected. [Accessibility] The price point is an incredible advantage. The fact that it's available at Daiso is another big plus. It's not just good for its price - it's genuinely good regardless of the cost. [Oil Control] From a combination skin perspective, it controls oil well without causing dryness. Size] It might seem unreasonable to ask for more given the low price, but the pan is too small. It's inconvenient to use with a brush or puff. [Longevity] While it looks great initially, it doesn't last very long. It seems better suited for touch-ups. A brush works better than a puff. Gently patting it on with a brush gives good results. It seems more suitable for fall or late summer rather than the height of summer. - gc********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsFeb 20, 2024
This powder compact is highly recommended for those with oily skin. The fine particles make it perfect for lightly controlling excess oil on the face after makeup application. It might be a bit too harsh for dry skin types to use this powder. I noticed my makeup cracking quite a bit. I found it more useful for absorbing oil from greasy hair rather than applying it on my face. - ks******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 15, 2024
Hmm... There's nothing really... Oh, I guess it's easy to control the amount? Actually, no. Well, it's cheap? 1. Stinging sensation immediately after application 2. The smell is off... 3. When in a cold place after applying, it feels like bugs are crawling on your face 4. In warm places, it just feels like you've applied a pain relief patch to your face ... If I had more time, I would've wiped it off before leaving... I'll have to do some intensive skincare when I get home. Ugh, so frustrating! If you have dry skin, if you have sensitive skin, if you have atopic dermatitis - please, don't buy this for any of those reasons. Do you have all three like me? Well... Not buying this again!
