- Absorbs really well (not too thick, so it's easy to apply) - The scent lasts for a long time - The strong basil scent might be polarizing - It applies lightly without being too rich, so it doesn't seem to combat dryness effectively (this is probably its biggest drawback) - bi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 16, 2024
Fragrance ★★★★★ True to its Lime and Basil name, it has a refreshing scent. I usually don't like sweet fragrances, but this one is more like a tangy lemon scent without the sweetness, which I loved. There's also a hint of citrus, making it perfect to use instead of perfume in late spring or early summer. Compared to a similar-named fragrance from Jo××, this one has a stronger lime scent and less basil. The scent longevity is better with this body emulsion - I noticed it lasted about 5-6 hours. Moisturizing power ★★★★ It has decent moisturizing power and feels quite hydrating! Those with extremely dry skin might find it a bit lacking though. It's not too sticky or heavy, and the scent suits spring and summer well, so it's perfect for spring, summer, and fall rather than the depths of winter. Absorption ★★★★★ One reason I often avoid body emulsions in winter is that they can leave a slippery feeling after application. However, this one absorbs well, leaving minimal slipperiness, which I really appreciate! If you're looking for rich, intensive moisturization, you might find this a bit disappointing. I'd recommend this if you're in the market for a citrusy body emulsion.
