But there weren't really any notable benefits either. The pore size is on the larger side.
ConsI bought it for the advertised itch-relieving functionality, but it didn't have any effect. It's quite oily. For a cream, it's quite thick and difficult to apply.

It's extremely oily, but after application, the itchy areas from seborrheic dermatitis or folliculitis start to calm down within about 5 minutes.
ConsAs expected, there's the characteristic greasy, slippery feeling of Physiogel. If you apply too much, it can cause small pimples. I only use it when my skin barrier is compromised. Using it daily is a bit suffocating for me. And it's expensive😭
TipI recommend it for those with dry, itchy skin. It's better to apply it selectively to the areas that need it, rather than all over your face, to prevent additional breakouts.

And my face was quite itchy due to atopic dermatitis, but applying this made it a little less itchy.
ConsDue to the oiliness, my face looks shiny and greasy, so I have to redo my makeup right before applying it.

ConsCompared to just a regular moisturizer, it has a slight oily feel, but it's fine as long as you don't apply too much

I have a relatively normal to dry skin type, but the areas on my cheeks and jawline that rub against the mask have severe scaling, and the redness is also very severe, so I thought this product might help, and I purchased it after seeing the label claiming it helps with relieving itchiness and redness. 📍Effects It's been about 2-3 days since I purchased it, and I've been applying it consistently morning and night. As this is my first time using Physiogel, I was worried that my sensitive skin might not take it well, but to be honest, I didn't see any dramatic relief of the itchiness or redness immediately after applying it. I'm hoping the effects will start to show with continued use. 📍Texture The texture is suitable for lightly providing moisture before applying a cream. This time, I purchased the newly released cream as well and have been using them together.
Cons📍Fragrance and Eye Irritation The product is fragrance-free, and it spreads very smoothly on the skin. After applying and the moisture has evaporated, the formula hardens on the skin, and the oil-like substance separates from the rest of the formula, floating on the surface. Since I have eye allergies, when I apply this product near my eyes, the oily component irritates my eyes, causing them to easily fatigue, become bloodshot, and tear up continuously (similar to how sunscreens with organic filters affect me 😭). This product also couldn't withstand my eyes. That's unfortunate... 😭 So recently, I've only been applying it to the reddened areas on my cheeks and jawline, and using a different brand's product, Es*r, on my sensitive eye area, eyelids, and eyebrows. My eyes definitely feel more comfortable that way.
TipI haven't tried wearing makeup with this product yet, but given the product's tendency to release oil after application, I think the base makeup would wear off very quickly. (I wouldn't recommend using it for makeup, but it might be better to use it in the evening.) I don't usually write such long reviews, but I wanted to share my experience in case it's helpful for others who are struggling with contact dermatitis like I am. 😭

ConsIt may not be suitable for daily use. While it greatly improves redness in winter dryness, it also seems to have a certain level of oiliness. For those who haven't tried the blue Physiogel, it would be understandable to think it has a similar level of oiliness.
TipIf it's an especially dry day where you've had the heater cranked up, applying it in a thicker, mask-like layer and leaving it on overnight can make the dryness and redness disappear by the next day ☆

ConsOily skin types may find it slightly greasy. Oily skin types should not use anything else and just use this product!
TipDo not apply a large amount at once. Layer it on thinly in multiple steps!

This time, I got to try the new Relief Balm. Compared to the products I had used before, this one definitely feels more moisturizing and has a coating-like protective layer. As I get older, my skin is becoming drier and drier, and this winter has been particularly harsh, unlike the relatively mild one last year. I only applied it to the drier areas on my face, like my chin and around my mouth, but this year the dryness was so severe that I also applied it diligently to my legs (shins and inner thighs), which had become irritated and damaged from scratching. While my skin hasn't completely returned to normal, it has improved a lot more compared to just using a regular body lotion. I used to prefer products that absorbed cleanly, but with severe dryness, the lasting moisturization doesn't last as long. The Physiogel Relief Balm doesn't absorb completely, but it's not oily either. The moisturizing layer lasts a long time, so I felt less dryness and itchiness. I also liked that it feels gentle and fragrance-free. It's quite different from the other Physiogel products, and the moisturization lasts much longer.
ConsWhen applied, an oily moisturizing layer forms, and it takes some time to fully absorb. So it's better suited for use on specific severely dry areas, rather than for the entire face or before makeup.
TipBefore bed, mixing 2-3 drops of a natural moisturizing oil (like jojoba) with the Relief Balm and massaging it in can help prevent scratching during sleep. The next morning, the skin condition is significantly improved.

Instead, I focused on applying it to my hands and elbows. The moisturizing power is excellent. My hands (which are dry) have been dry lately, but after applying this product following a toner to hydrate, the dryness disappeared. For moderately dry skin, this product alone should provide sufficient hydration (though you'll need to separately replenish moisture). The application is smooth. The formula is a cream with a drop of face oil, and it spreads very evenly. It's gentle. It didn't sting when applied to areas with minor irritation.
ConsIt doesn't absorb quickly. It seems to have a lot of oil content, and when applying it to my hands, it felt a bit inconvenient.
TipApply this after using a toner or essence to hydrate, or when your skin is damp.
