The dispenser has a fairly large opening.
ConsI bought it for its anti-itching claims, but it didn't work. It's quite rich in oils and has a thick, stiff texture for a cream, making it difficult to absorb.

It's quite rich, but after applying it to itchy areas caused by seborrheic dermatitis or rosacea, it calms the skin dramatically within about 5 minutes.
ConsAs expected, it has that typical Physiogel greasy feeling that sits on top of the skin. Applying too much can lead to small blemishes. I only use it when my skin barrier is damaged. It's a bit heavy for daily use. And it's expensive!
TipRecommended for those with dry and itchy skin. Rather than applying it all over your face, it's better to use it selectively on needed areas to prevent additional blemishes.

The way it absorbs is absolutely fantastic!
ConsIt's slightly on the oily side. Other than that, there's nothing to complain about!

The rich formula really helps. Also, I had pretty bad itching from facial dermatitis, but this cream made it a bit less itchy.
ConsBecause of its rich texture, it can make your face look quite shiny. If you apply it before makeup, you'll need to touch up your makeup pretty quickly.

It applies gently and keeps my skin moisturized for a long time. Even though I have acne-prone skin, I haven't experienced any special blemishes with this.
ConsCompared to regular moisturizers, it feels slightly rich. However, it's fine if you don't apply too much.

After applying and letting it dry, the formula sets and a slight oily residue separates from the product, sitting on top of the skin. I have eye allergies, and when products like this are applied near my eyes, I can't tolerate the oily residue. My eyes quickly become tired, bloodshot, and tear up continuously (similar to my reaction to organic UV filters in sunscreens). Unfortunately, my eyes couldn't handle this product either. That's disappointing... Recently, I've been applying it only on my cheeks and jawline where redness is severe, and using another brand's product (Est*) on the sensitive areas around my eyes, including eyelids and eyebrows. My eyes are definitely more comfortable this way.
TipI haven't tried wearing makeup over this product, but given how the oil rises to the surface after application, I suspect it would make base makeup wear off very quickly. (I wouldn't recommend using it under makeup, but it's great for evening use.) I don't usually write such long reviews, but I hope this information is helpful for those struggling with contact dermatitis like me.

ConsIt might not be suitable for daily use due to its rich texture, which is effective for combating winter dryness and redness. For those unfamiliar with the blue Physiogel cream, imagine a similar level of richness to understand the texture better.
TipOn particularly dry days when you've had the heater on high, try applying two layers like a thick mask. You'll notice a significant reduction in dryness and redness the next morning.

Pros: - My face doesn't itch and feels quite hydrated - Unlike the original Physiogel which has a more oil-based texture, this product feels more water-based - No folliculitis after use; in fact, the small bumps have decreased (This is really great... When a product doesn't suit me, I break out immediately) - When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels smoother Cons: - The quantity feels a bit small - Might be too heavy for oily skin - After some time, it feels like oil rises to the surface of the skin
ConsIf you have oily skin, you might find this a bit greasy. For those with oily skin, don't apply any other products - just use this one alone!
TipDon't apply too much at once. Instead, layer it thinly in multiple applications!

This time, I got to try their new Relief Balm. Compared to the products I've used before, it definitely feels more hydrating and gives a sensation of coating the skin with a moisturizing barrier. As I get older, I'm increasingly dreading winter due to worsening dryness, and this year has been particularly harsh compared to last year's milder winter. I applied it mainly to the dry areas of my face like the chin and around the mouth. I also diligently applied it to my legs (shins and inner thighs) which were especially dry, itchy, and somewhat damaged from scratching this year. While it didn't completely restore my skin to normal, it definitely improved the condition more than regular body emulsions. I used to prefer products that absorb cleanly, but I've found they don't provide lasting hydration for severe dryness. The Physiogel Relief Balm doesn't completely absorb, but it's not just an oily texture either. It creates a long-lasting moisturizing barrier that significantly reduced dryness and itching. I also appreciated its hydrating effect and mild, fragrance-free formula. It's definitely different from other Physiogel products and provides longer-lasting hydration.
ConsSince it creates an oily moisturizing barrier and takes time to fully absorb, it's not ideal for use all over the face or before makeup application. It's better suited for particularly dry areas that need extra care.
TipFor an extra boost, try mixing 2-3 drops of natural moisturizing oil (like jojoba) with the Relief Balm before bed. Massage it in gently. This helps prevent nighttime scratching and significantly improves skin condition by morning.

Instead, I focused on applying it to my hands and elbows. The hydration power is incredible. My hands (which are dry) had been feeling parched lately, but after applying toner for moisture and then this cream, the dryness disappeared. I think this alone might provide enough moisture for most dry skin types (though you'll need to supplement with hydration separately). It absorbs beautifully. The texture is like cream with a drop of face oil, and it glides on very smoothly. It's gentle too - it didn't sting even when applied to broken skin.
ConsIt doesn't absorb quickly. I think it's because it's quite rich, which made it a bit inconvenient when applying to my hands.
TipApply this after using a toner or essence to add hydration, or while your skin is still damp.
