It's soft and moisturizing. This is my first time trying an oil, and I think it's great. The scent isn't overpowering, and I love how it becomes subtly fragrant after a while. The ingredients don't seem to be the best quality. It might be a bit irritating for sensitive skin. Apply generously for a luxurious body care routine - sh**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 3, 2025
The oil provides deep hydration characteristic of oils, offering immediate moisturizing effects for dry skin. I found it particularly effective when used after showering, leaving the skin feeling moisturized for a long time. Compared to typical body oils, it absorbs relatively lightly and doesn't feel heavy. There's minimal stickiness after application, making it comfortable to use without any burden. True to its name 'Meditation', it has a deep, calm natural scent that made me feel serene every time I applied it. The natural, non-artificial fragrance contributed to a comfortable user experience. It may absorb slower than regular body emulsions, which could be slightly inconvenient when you need to get dressed quickly. Possibly due to its natural ingredients and brand value, it's priced higher compared to body oils of similar volume, which might make it challenging to use consistently. - dy********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 21, 2025
I love the scent, which is a big plus. It absorbs well and has a great texture that glides on smoothly. I can't think of any other downsides, but I wish it came in a larger size. After showering, I apply it while my skin is still slightly damp, massaging it in, then gently pat dry with a towel. - eu*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2025
The citrusy scent is quite refreshing and not bad for a mood boost, though personally it's not my favorite. It's not exactly a sweet and tangy citrus, but more like a sauna lemon scent. As a body oil, it's great for dry skin in winter. The opening is too small, requiring multiple taps to get enough product out. Not great value for money. It's a bit sticky when absorbing and takes some time to sink in. Recommend applying when skin is slightly damp. Also, whoever decided to put paper bands on bathroom products needs a reality check. It's asking for a mold edition... Chasing aesthetics at the expense of health, haha! - ta*********Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 18, 2024
- Skin type: Dry - Been using Moksha hand cream and body oil for about a year - The unique woody scent and natural fragrance that's not overpowering are very appealing Compared to the Aesop body oil, this has a bit more weight and hydration. When used together with a body emulsion, it leaves the skin texture soft and keeps it moisturized for at least half a day. For hand cream use, if you apply a small amount of body oil thinly like a coating, it's more satisfying than most hand creams. I intend to keep using it. Highly recommended. The glass bottle is also a plus! As a brand that minimizes plastic use, it has a twist-open cap instead of a pump. While it's a bit inconvenient to use, I bought it because I appreciate the brand's environmental values. - rl*********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityNov 17, 2024
I bought this body oil to use with gua sha, and I love that it has an added aroma! It has a slight herbal scent, but it's quite pleasant. I was really taken aback when I first opened the product. As you can see in the photo, the cap closes at an angle. I tried to close it properly multiple times, but it kept tilting. When I contacted Tone28's customer service, they said it could happen because the grooves on the cap don't align with those on the glass bottle. They asked if I wanted a replacement product or just a new cap... but then mentioned that even a new product might have a tilted cap. If this has been a common issue, shouldn't they have improved the bottle or cap design by now? I'm really disappointed with how they handled this. I'll have to think twice before purchasing from them again. - ku*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2024
The scent is truly delightful. The subtle woody aroma brings a sense of tranquility. Nothing particularly negative to mention. When mixed with body emulsion, it absorbs well into the skin. - dp*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessOct 22, 2024
The texture and scent are lovely, making it perfect for use in autumn or winter. Everyone raved about it, so I bought it, but it didn't work for me. The container is heavy, and the amount is a bit small for the price. - th******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 15, 2024
I bought the ylang-ylang floral scent, and the fragrance is absolutely divine! It's the most sophisticated and mood-lifting floral scent I've ever encountered. What's more, it absorbs well into the skin without any sticky feeling, leaving it beautifully hydrated. The finish is truly the best of the best! The gua sha tool fits perfectly in your hand, as if crafted by a master woodworker. I'm absolutely thrilled with this purchase! If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that the quantity is quite small compared to the price! - by********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 30, 2024
I first tried a sample I requested, and I'm so pleased it came in a roll-on format, not just a flimsy sachet. It's incredibly convenient to carry around. The scent is woody, reminiscent of a temple - the kind of fragrance that makes you feel like you need to meditate. I find myself using it more often by applying it to my wrists when I want to feel calm. It's also great for dry areas of skin. There's nothing to complain about. How am I supposed to fill 20 characters with critiques?
