When used over makeup, it causes foundation to pill. After some time, areas where I applied too much develop white powder marks. The problem is, it goes on clear, so I didn't notice and ended up walking around with visible white patches on my face. What a nightmare!

At first, I was amazed by how it starts off moisturizing but then dries to a less hydrated finish. Even when applied to bare skin, it didn't feel like I was just layering powder on. Instead, it felt comfortably moisturizing at first, and as it dried, I felt less greasy!

I love that it's a water-based no-sebum cushion, which applies moisturizing and smoothly without any excess powder.

Use it once after your skincare routine before makeup, and once as the final step of your makeup! The longevity of your makeup will increase dramatically!

If you don't control the amount well, your makeup can look cakey! Make sure to use just the right amount.

I fell in love with the Fanel serum cushion and got another Fanel product! It's a liquid no-sebum cushion that also acts as a primer, so I use it once before and after makeup. When used before makeup, it really controls the oiliness from skincare products, not only extending the wear time of my base makeup but also helping tremendously with skin texture refinement. I highly recommend this to anyone worried about their makeup breaking down!

If you use this for a first round of setting after applying cushion foundation and before powder, it keeps your skin from getting too dry and reduces oil production, allowing you to maintain that fresh-faced look for longer!

Every time I apply this, my makeup comes off. I have to reapply the cushion foundation, which is a hassle, so I end up not using it much. Also, it's too small, making it a bit difficult to dab and apply.

After switching from blotting papers to the No Sebum Cushion, I was pleasantly surprised by how refreshing and nice it felt

For a '3rd generation' product, it just feels like powder mixed with water. Once the moisture evaporates, the powder clumps together. You'll find white patches in your hair or spots on your face that look like dried toothpaste splatters. Fortunately, these disappear when you spread it out, but over time, you'll notice powder appearing all over. While it controls oil well, it also makes your skin quite dry as a result. Also, it's surprisingly small and the amount is less than expected.

A moisturizing no-sebum product?! I was intrigued and bought it right away from Olive Young after seeing the ad. I imagined it might be like water mixed with no-sebum powder, and that's exactly what it is! When you apply it, it feels hydrating, but as the water evaporates, the porous powder absorbs oil. It effectively controls oil and the instant cooling effect from the moisture makes it perfect for summer use. Unlike other powder-type no-sebum products that can be messy and cling to peach fuzz, this one doesn't do that, so I'm giving it 4 stars for now.
