At first, I was amazed by how it starts off moisturizing but then dries to a less hydrated finish. Even when applied to bare skin, it didn't feel like I was just layering powder on. Instead, it felt comfortably moisturizing at first, and as it dried, I felt less greasy! When used over makeup, it causes foundation to pill. After some time, areas where I applied too much develop white powder marks. The problem is, it goes on clear, so I didn't notice and ended up walking around with visible white patches on my face. What a nightmare! For best results, use sparingly on bare skin or as a final step in your skincare routine. Avoid applying over makeup to prevent pilling and visible residue. - ki***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 29, 2025
It feels pleasantly moisturizing when applied and also controls oil well. Plus, you can really feel the cooling effect. It was disappointing that it was initially sealed and leaked a bit. Also, the amount seems small compared to the price. - gt********Apr 27, 2025
I love that it's a water-based no-sebum cushion, which applies moisturizing and smoothly without any excess powder. The amount is less than expected, and most importantly, after a short while, I noticed my makeup was lifting off my skin. That was disappointing. - yu**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 19, 2025
I fell in love with the Fanel serum cushion and got another Fanel product! It's a liquid no-sebum cushion that also acts as a primer, so I use it once before and after makeup. When used before makeup, it really controls the oiliness from skincare products, not only extending the wear time of my base makeup but also helping tremendously with skin texture refinement. I highly recommend this to anyone worried about their makeup breaking down! If you don't control the amount well, your makeup can look cakey! Make sure to use just the right amount. Use it once after your skincare routine before makeup, and once as the final step of your makeup! The longevity of your makeup will increase dramatically! - f8********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 20, 2024

It's moisturizing and when applied after cushion foundation, it improves longevity, making it perfect for summer use! Every time I apply this, my makeup comes off. I have to reapply the cushion foundation, which is a hassle, so I end up not using it much. Also, it's too small, making it a bit difficult to dab and apply. If you use this for a first round of setting after applying cushion foundation and before powder, it keeps your skin from getting too dry and reduces oil production, allowing you to maintain that fresh-faced look for longer! - w2********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 4, 2024
It's great for summer use instead of oil control powder, and feels refreshingly cool. I use it regularly in my daily routine. It's a bit tricky to control the amount, and if you apply too much, it can leave a white cast. Also, the quantity in the product is too small, unfortunately. - gn*********Oily SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedAug 16, 2024
Unlike regular sebum control powders that can be messy, this water-based formula doesn't have any excess powder. It also provides an instant cooling effect upon application. If you apply too much, it can flake off like dead skin cells later. Also, the price is a bit on the steep side. - so******Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 13, 2024
It effectively controls oil production. I love how it shows immediate results! The puff gets dirty quickly and becomes clumpy when the oil and powder mix together. - be**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2024
After switching from blotting papers to the No Sebum Cushion, I was pleasantly surprised by how refreshing and nice it felt The cushion got dirty quite quickly, which made me hesitant to use it
