The cushion format makes it hygienic and easy to use. Its moisturizing formula keeps your skin from feeling dry. Despite being a brightening moisturizer cushion, its tone-evening effect is rather weak. It doesn't glide on smoothly in one go, so you need to pat it on multiple times like a stamp. This makes it a bit time-consuming for rushed mornings. - ye********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMay 23, 2025
My absolute favorite... I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through! I simply can't be without it. It's not for everyone though. If you have oily skin, you might find it a bit too rich during the summer months. This review highlights the product's popularity with the reviewer while also noting potential concerns for those with oily skin types, especially in warmer weather. The translation maintains the emotional tone of the original text, expressing both enthusiasm and a practical caveat. - wh**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 16, 2025
It was nice and moisturizing, and the tone-up effect was truly natural. However, it doesn't seem to brighten noticeably, and it also appears to be slightly peeling off. - sh*****RecommendedMay 7, 2025
I love how this brightening moisturizer evens my skin tone perfectly for work. Just need to cover a few blemishes and my no-makeup look is complete! It doesn't really conceal blemishes well, just acts as a sunscreen cushion. But hey, it does its job, so I guess that's good enough. - al********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 27, 2025
At first, it was good that my skin became moisturized, refined, and brightened! As someone who finds makeup tedious, I dislike heavy foundation, but I like how my skin becomes radiant with sunscreen! There are spots appearing on the mask, and since I applied it carelessly, it's clumping and flaking. I seem to be having a reaction, and it's not working for me! As the name suggests, it's meant for tone-up, so it doesn't provide any coverage at all. - ab*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 22, 2025
This sun cushion is ideal for dry skin. When applied over a well-prepped base, it can make your skin texture look its best. While it's not a high-coverage sun cushion, it's perfect for easy sunscreen application, smoothing out skin texture, and adding a subtle soft-focus effect. It also layers beautifully under cushion foundations or liquid foundations without any pilling. For the best results, blot excess oil with a puff before applying makeup on top - your skin will look flawless. If your skin isn't properly prepped, you might experience dryness underneath with oiliness on the surface. It's quite rich, so it's not recommended for oily skin types, and even dry skin needs a solid skincare base. If you're looking for perfect, clean tone-up and coverage, this product might fall a bit short. The color leans more towards a beige or ivory tone rather than pink. One downside is that the puff tends to absorb quite a bit of product. While it applies beautifully, you'll need to pat diligently for the best application. After application and before adding cushion or foundation, gently pat your skin with a clean puff to remove excess oil. This technique ensures a flawless complexion without any pilling. Personally, I skip foundation and just add concealer and powder on top. This gives a slight tone-up effect that looks clean and nice. - fn****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 7, 2025
I'm on my fifth refill and still loving it! As someone with combination dehydrated skin, this product definitely brightens my complexion! It's perfect for those days when blemishes make me hesitant to use foundation or cushion, or as a substitute for sunscreen when it's tricky to apply in the summer heat. The pretty pink tint gives a lovely glow to my skin! While I have combination dehydrated skin, my chin and around my mouth tend to be quite dry. After a while, the product can crack a bit or cause dead skin cells to flake, so it's crucial to apply it over a well-moisturized base. It feels a tad drier than expected. Although it didn't cause major blemishes, it does feel a bit sticky on the face, so thorough cleansing is necessary. I wish it was just a touch more hydrating. Still, it's good for those in-between moments when you need something light. As it tends to dry out over time, make sure to layer it over a hydrating skincare routine. The brightening effect is quite noticeable, so if you have a darker neck, either extend the application down or use a different brightening moisturizer for that area. - da********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsMar 12, 2025
The pink base gives your skin a radiant look. After application, your complexion appears noticeably improved. Being a cushion type, it's convenient to carry and apply during summer. It transfers onto clothes! No matter how long after application, it still stains your clothing. I've given up applying it to my neck because it dirties the neckline. I've tried many sunscreens, but I've never seen one that transfers as much as this product. I thought maybe it was melting due to sweat in summer, so I saved it for winter use, but the problem persists. It stained my padded jacket, and I struggled to clean it off. I don't understand why this product is so popular. - do********Dry SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 3, 2025
I loved the d'Alba Waterfull Tone-Up Suncream so much that I decided to buy their sun cushion too. As someone with dry skin who usually can't use foundation or cushions, I found the d'Alba sun cushion to be pleasantly moisturizing. While it doesn't completely cover blemishes, it's perfect for a light, foundation-free look. It's especially great for touch-ups throughout the day. I also love how it gives my skin a natural glow. The price is quite steep. Although I'm satisfied with finding a sun cushion that works well for me, I hesitated for a long time before purchasing due to the cost. Also, it doesn't provide full coverage - it's more suitable for those with already good skin who want a light application. Additionally, the cushion puff isn't particularly impressive, so I've switched to using a different one. I'd recommend other users to consider replacing it with a puff that suits them better. I've been applying the d'Alba Waterfull Tone-Up Suncream first, then finishing with the sun cushion, and I'm really happy with how my complexion looks. Alternatively, you could just apply the suncream before going out and use the sun cushion for touch-ups later. - ra********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
I bought this to use as a sun cushion, and I was pleased that it also evens skin tone nicely The product was smaller than I expected, and it was challenging to control the amount used
