At first, I didn't really notice the effects, but after using it a couple of times, I totally understood why everyone raves about it. My skin has transformed from being dry and rough to completely smooth now. The more I use it, the dewier my skin gets - it's no joke! There's nothing I dislike about it so far. In fact, even if they raised the price, I'd still buy it without hesitation. That's how amazing it is. This is truly my holy grail cleanser! - he***********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2023
Love that I don't need to double cleanse. It's gentle on the face and doesn't cause irritation. The grain scent is quite fragrant and pleasant. The fact that it's not in a tube is a bit disappointing. The plastic container is somewhat concerning for the environment. It would be great if they offered refillable packaging. Use about a 50-cent coin sized amount, mix with a little water, and apply it like a mask. Then, work it into a lather like a cleanser to finish washing your face! - li*******Combination SkinAcne SkinApr 15, 2023
The ingredients aren't too bad, and it's an unusual formula that piqued my curiosity, leading me to purchase it. It seems to contain almond powder, but rubbing it on the face after application was extremely irritating. Those with contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, or sensitive, blemish-prone skin shouldn't even consider it. I tried lathering it with my hands just in case, but it wasn't much better. In my opinion, it's quite drying... While my acne was improving with dermatologist treatments, after using this product just twice - the evening it was delivered and the next morning - I developed severe contact dermatitis and large folliculitis, like pimples, on my nasolabial folds and chin. I'm trying to think of it as if I bought a $36 body wash. - st******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2023
It seems to exfoliate while cleansing. I use it to remove makeup too since it's a deep cleanser. The white body cleanser feels more moisturizing. This one leaves my skin feeling a bit tight, but I understand that's because it's a deep cleanser. - hi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 19, 2023
I have combination dehydrated skin with redness and sensitivity. My biggest concern is redness, so I prioritize products that won't cause irritation. This is my holy grail cleanser, and I've gifted it to many friends who all love it too! 1. Cleansing effectiveness: It's excellent. Unlike other cleansers that sometimes leave eyeliner residue, this one removes everything completely. It's also great for clearing blackheads, whiteheads, and dead skin cells. 2. Irritation: Surprisingly, despite having granules, it doesn't irritate my skin at all. 3. Hydration: My skin doesn't feel tight or dry after using it. 4. Scent: It has a nutty, grain-like aroma which I personally enjoy. The only downside is that it's a bit inconvenient to use since you have to scoop it out. I use this as my second cleanser after an oil cleanser. I typically only use it in my evening routine. - lo*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2023
Holy grail status achieved! I used to have a whole arsenal of cleansing products - cleansing milk, cleansing oil, enzyme cleanser, handmade soap, and gel cleanser. I'd mix and match depending on my skin's needs. My skin is sensitive, oily, yet dehydrated. Now? I've simplified to just two products: this cleansing bar and a gel cleanser for mornings. For someone like me who doesn't wear heavy makeup, this bar is all I need. It exfoliates, controls sebum, removes makeup - all in one step. It's so convenient! My deep dryness has improved significantly. I even notice a slight glow when I'm bare-faced. Plus, the ingredients are great. I'm thoroughly satisfied every day. It's challenging to get hold of. I've been waiting for crowdfunding, but they're bundling it with other products... I ended up buying a different cleansing bar from their own store, but the Fresh version was perfect for me. I'm a bit worried as the weather gets warmer. If you're uneasy about not removing your makeup thoroughly, start by using a coin-sized amount to remove makeup, then use a tiny bit more for a double cleanse. It leaves your skin incredibly clean. It's completely eliminated my whiteheads, and my blackheads have reduced by more than half. If the cleansing wasn't effective, this wouldn't have happened, right? - li******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMar 2, 2023
I've nearly finished using two of the upgraded version of the original half-and-half cleansing bar, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! I'm definitely planning to repurchase. However, it seems you can only get it on Wadiz, not on the official website... ■ Exfoliation It contains almond powder for gentle exfoliation. Even if you have bumpy sebum between your eyebrows or on your nose, this cleansing bar will leave your skin smooth and even. ■ Cleansing It doesn't fully remove eyeliner and mascara. You'll need to use a makeup remover first for those, then follow up with this product. ■ Skin Feel It leaves your skin feeling hydrated, which might make you wonder if it's cleaned properly. But there's no deep dryness after use. If I had to nitpick, it's that you need to use a spatula or your hands to scoop out the product... For a gentle cleanse, wet your face, then work the product into a lather with some water in your hands before applying. If you have dry skin, it's best to follow up with skincare immediately after use. You might notice your skin gradually feeling tighter and looking a bit white otherwise. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2023
I absolutely adore this cleanser! It's truly fantastic. The product effectiveness is great, but the best part? No deep dryness after cleansing! My skin feels incredibly soft... I don't use it daily, but about 3 times a week as a gentle exfoliator. While foamy cleansers tend to be drying, Arencia's formula is so good that it leaves my skin super hydrated. You can really tell they put a lot of care into making this product. I bought it on Wadiz, but next time I'm stocking up on more than just one! Even with the few downsides mentioned below, it's still a product I want to repurchase. 1) It's definitely too stimulating for daily use! Make sure to use plenty of water when applying. 2) The scent is a bit odd, almost like chewing gum... It doesn't seem to match the product well. 3) I don't think it's available for purchase right now... I'll have to search the secondhand markets. For best results, use with plenty of water! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2022
It's gentle yet has great cleansing effectiveness...! I used to do a two-step cleanse with oil and foam, but this works perfectly on its own. After washing, there's no deep dryness or feeling of super sensitive skin. I've been using it for just over a month, and while I haven't seen dramatic improvements in blemishes, my skin feels like it's getting stronger...!!! I really recommend this. We need to prevent it from being discontinued! Even though there are some downsides mentioned below, the benefits far outweigh them~! It's inconvenient to use with a spatula... Also, because it has granules, I wouldn't recommend it if you want to wash your face without washing your hair! The granules get stuck in your hair. And it runs out surprisingly quickly (I used up one container in about a month with twice-daily use), so now I only use it for removing makeup in the evening! First, wet your face (even if you're wearing makeup, just lightly dampen it!), then slightly dilute the cleanser with water in your hands before applying it to your face for cleansing. This way, it rolls on smoothly.
