Great hydration and gentle ingredients. I apply it every night before bed. It feels way too rich, so I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types.

It has great hydration without being too sticky. When applied over an emulsion, it feels like it creates an extra layer of protection, which I really appreciated! On a sub-zero day, I forgot to apply it before going out and my skin felt itchy. After pregnancy, the skin on both my shoulders changed texture, almost like snakeskin - not quite pruritus, but noticeable. Other body creams and oils I tried were absorbed too quickly and seemed to evaporate, but this cream was the only one that really lasted. That's how satisfied I was with its moisturizing power! This product used to come in a tube, but I'm not sure if that version has been discontinued. The current jar format has the advantage of being able to use every last bit, but from a hygiene perspective, it's best to use a spatula, which can be inconvenient. The scent is like vanilla or coconut - in my opinion, it's not overpowering (I don't usually wear perfume, except occasionally some Aesop fragrances), but fragrance preferences vary greatly from person to person, so it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation. Try using a spatula you have lying around at home
