The formula is about the same as other sun sticks, just average. The UV protection is certified, and it washes off reasonably well even when wet, which is good. However, it does leave a slightly oily feeling after use, so it doesn't have a completely matte finish. Still, the sun stick is a good size, and the value for money during the promotion makes it a decent option.
