There's no bouncy feel to it. It's more like a serum foundation style. ■Application: Now I understand why they keep saying to apply it with a spatula. It's tool-dependent. You need to layer it thinly multiple times for a pretty skin finish. It truly requires effort. Just using a puff doesn't spread it evenly, and it can clump or pill in some areas. If you're not skilled with makeup or dislike spending time and effort on application, this might be hit or miss. It's a shame it doesn't glide on easily, which would make me want to use it more often. ■Color/Pigmentation: For shade 22, Nude Glass has a slightly neutral beige tone with a hint of ivory. On my wrist, it looked a bit brighter than my natural skin tone. But on my face... oh! It has a slight white cast and goes on a bit pale? The cushion wasn't like this... On my face, it feels more like shade 21. It's too bright and desaturated. My first impression was disappointing because it looked ghostly on my skin, not melding well. If you prefer a shade lighter than your natural tone, you might be satisfied. If you dislike a noticeable difference between your neck and face color, this shade might be hit or miss. ■Adherence/Pore Coverage: Adherence is questionable... Patting with a puff doesn't spread it evenly, so I tried swiping, which worked slightly better. It covers small pores decently, but not large ones. Right after application, the skin feels sticky, so I had to set it with powder. It feels like it's sitting on top of the skin rather than becoming one with it. ■Coverage: 2.5 out of 5. It slightly covers redness, but blemishes show through. It's like a CC cream mixed with foundation - a tone-up cream with some coverage. The cushion was about 4-4.5, handling most issues except major blemishes in one go, but this foundation honestly seems suited for those with already good skin and no blemishes. Despite being from the same line as the cushion, the coverage has significantly dropped. ■Longevity/Breakdown/Darkening: It gets sticky, so with powder, it breaks down in an unflattering, clumpy way. Even without powder, it doesn't blend naturally with skin oils. There's nose creasing and it emphasizes dead skin cells. It darkens about half a shade. With powder, there's minimal transfer to masks. If you're sensitive to mineral sunscreens, beware - it has a high content of zinc oxide, which can cause breakouts and messy makeup breakdown for some. If you strongly dislike mineral sunscreens like me, I wouldn't recommend this. ■Value for Money: If you're buying this foundation because you liked the cushion, you might be very disappointed. I can't really recommend it. If you still want to try, please test it offline before purchasing. The formula is different, the color is different and it has a white cast, the coverage is low, and it's not even easy to apply. Maybe YouTuber Lucy's good skin led her to overestimate its coverage... It falls far short of the cushion's reputation, which is disappointing. The review I found most similar to my experience was YouTuber Chaewoo's - I'd suggest referring to that. Also, after using it for two days, my folliculitis and blemishes worsened, so I had to stop using it.
ConsCoverage is far inferior to the cushion / Difficult to apply easily / Unflattering breakdown / Emphasizes dead skin cells / Darkens / High zinc oxide content, so avoid if you break out or experience messy makeup breakdown with mineral sunscreens
TipConcealer is a must due to low coverage
