First off, this product is incredibly hydrating, which really minimizes the appearance of dead skin cells. I love that it gives a glow that's not overly shiny, but rather a subtle Inner Glow that comes from within! The texture is very light and fluid, so it absorbs effortlessly without feeling heavy or suffocating. It's definitely perfect for daily use when you want a more natural look! The coverage is on the lower side. Perhaps due to its thin consistency, it doesn't provide much coverage. While layering can improve this, to achieve the coverage I want, I'd need to apply multiple layers. But doing so would make it too thick and negate the product's benefits. So while it's great for a casual, easy look, I wouldn't recommend it for times when you want more dramatic makeup. I'd suggest using a brush rather than a spatula to apply this product. When using a spatula, it sets almost immediately, leaving visible application marks on the face. That's why I recommend using a brush! Alternatively, you could dot it on with your fingers and then blend with a beauty sponge. But for the most even and thin application, a brush seems to work best! - sh*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedDec 6, 2024
Wow... This is absolutely incredible! I'm in love with it! I've never felt this good about any foundation except for Estée Lauder Futurist, but this one is a game-changer... For me, it provides sufficient coverage and effectively conceals pores. It gives a flawless skin appearance and makes my skin texture look beautiful. It's lightweight and hydrating without being greasy or feeling heavy. Even when my face heats up or I'm in a dry environment, it doesn't budge at all. This is truly the ultimate foundation!!!!! Please, please, please never discontinue or stop selling this... Keep it available forever, Fenty! There were absolutely no downsides!! If I had to nitpick, I'd say the 'glass' lettering on the packaging was prettier in the old design. Now it's just written plainly on the side, but before it was arranged in a circular pattern? That was really beautiful. I've tried it with a spatula, damp sponge, and cushion puff - they all work great! No need for any special tools. - pz***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 5, 2024
My absolute favorite hydrating foundation! It's the Foundation Glassy by Pony Effect. While Pony Effect is more famous for their cushions, I personally prefer their foundation much more! It comes in four shades, and I'm using 03 #NudeGlass :) The Pony Effect Foundation Glassy is a moisturizing foundation that adheres smoothly to the skin. After using it consistently, I've realized that 'its hydration is just right, not excessive'. It doesn't feel oily or heavy, but instead gives a light, purely hydrating feel that I absolutely love! It applies with a translucent finish. One layer is perfect for a beautiful everyday look, and it builds up nicely too! While it's not completely immune to darkening, it's not noticeable enough to bother me... I'm using it very happily :) My favorite thing about it is the beautiful glow it gives. Among lightweight, hydrating foundations, this one truly has the prettiest glow. If you were disappointed by the glow from cushions, try this foundation... you'll be very satisfied! I honestly can't think of any downsides... but those who prioritize high coverage might find it lacking. - x8********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2024
It's been a while since I bought and tried a liquid foundation, and it's really good! I don't have any major issues with it right now! Though using a spatula to apply it can be a bit of a hassle. - mj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2023

First off, as someone with a 21-22 shade, I found it evens skin tone perfectly! The Inner Glow it gives is absolutely gorgeous. Make sure to grab it during a sale! That way you'll save 10000 won.. The coverage is really disappointing.. You'll probably need to use concealer for areas it doesn't cover. - ai***Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 18, 2023
I was surprised to see the low ratings when I came to read the reviews. I bought this with my own money as soon as it came out at Olive Young, and I've been using it well. The first advantage is the color when applied! It allows your natural skin tone to show through while making it look clear, even, and clean. For me, in terms of color alone, this matched my skin the best among all foundations. It doesn't float or sink in, but naturally matches your complexion beautifully. Secondly, it's great at filling in pores. While I don't have particularly prominent pores, I was very satisfied with how smooth it made my skin look overall. It doesn't break down easily and adheres to the skin in a very thin layer, so my skin still looked good even in the afternoon. It doesn't feel like it's piling up and it's lightweight, so it's not uncomfortable. I didn't experience any eye irritation or caking either. I bought it in early January and have been using it extensively until late February. I recommend this to those who don't have major skin concerns and want a comfortable, natural, and clear skin look. Because it's called 'Glass', I expected it to have a runny texture with a noticeable oil content. However, it feels closer to semi-matte. If you're expecting glow, glossiness, or hydration when you purchase this, you might find the feel different from what you anticipated. Rather, its strengths lie in other areas - it provides a very clear and thin makeup look with good adherence and lasting power. Because of these characteristics, those who are concerned about dead skin cells, skin texture, or acne coverage should refer to other reviews as well before making a purchase. For reference, I have dry skin with a 21-22 warm tone complexion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 26, 2023
Color: The Foundation Glass in shade 3 was the perfect match for me, while I used shade 2 in the Cushion Glass. It's not too light or too yellow - just right! If you're currently using Cushion Glass in shade 2, you'll likely find shade 3 in this product to be similar. Application: The formula is incredibly moisturizing and applies in an ultra-thin layer. It feels like it's packed with hydration. The way it glides on, it's as if the moisture is being absorbed into your skin. You might even forget you're applying foundation and think it's a hydrating moisturizer! It also applies even more thinly than the Cushion Glass. Mask Transfer: I did a transfer test by applying Foundation Glass on one side of my face and Cushion Glass on the other. The Foundation Glass definitely transferred less onto the mask, likely due to its lighter and thinner formula. Coverage: Layering is absolutely necessary with this product! The coverage builds up slightly with each layer. With one layer, it looks almost like bare skin. Two layers provided some coverage for redness and blemishes. Personally, I felt the Cushion Glass offered higher coverage. Hydration: As someone with dry skin, I had high hopes for the beautiful glow this product promised. However, it didn't quite deliver the dewy finish I was expecting. Longevity: From a dry skin perspective, I noticed increasing deep dryness as time went on. The glow also faded significantly (Note: I was frequently moving between cold outdoor and warm indoor environments). As you can see in the photos, after some time, the skin looks a bit dry in areas with dead skin cells. There was also some slight darkening. Perhaps because the formula is so thin, the foundation wears off, allowing my natural skin to show through? Disclaimer: My skin has been acting up lately, which may have influenced this review. Also, the drastic temperature changes between indoors and outdoors during this season might have affected my experience. For this season, I personally prefer the Cushion Glass. However, I think this Foundation might work well in spring and summer, so I'll give it another try then and update my review! - tl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 6, 2023
■Skin Type: Olive tone / 22-light 23 shade / Acne scars / Severe blemishes Redness / Folliculitis / Combination dehydrated sensitive skin ■Texture: It has a thin, moisturizing consistency. There's no bouncy feel to it. It's more like a serum foundation style. ■Application: Now I understand why they keep saying to apply it with a spatula. It's tool-dependent. You need to layer it thinly multiple times for a pretty skin finish. It truly requires effort. Just using a puff doesn't spread it evenly, and it can clump or pill in some areas. If you're not skilled with makeup or dislike spending time and effort on application, this might be hit or miss. It's a shame it doesn't glide on easily, which would make me want to use it more often. ■Color/Pigmentation: For shade 22, Nude Glass has a slightly neutral beige tone with a hint of ivory. On my wrist, it looked a bit brighter than my natural skin tone. But on my face... oh! It has a slight white cast and goes on a bit pale? The cushion wasn't like this... On my face, it feels more like shade 21. It's too bright and desaturated. My first impression was disappointing because it looked ghostly on my skin, not melding well. If you prefer a shade lighter than your natural tone, you might be satisfied. If you dislike a noticeable difference between your neck and face color, this shade might be hit or miss. ■Adherence/Pore Coverage: Adherence is questionable... Patting with a puff doesn't spread it evenly, so I tried swiping, which worked slightly better. It covers small pores decently, but not large ones. Right after application, the skin feels sticky, so I had to set it with powder. It feels like it's sitting on top of the skin rather than becoming one with it. ■Coverage: 2.5 out of 5. It slightly covers redness, but blemishes show through. It's like a CC cream mixed with foundation - a tone-up cream with some coverage. The cushion was about 4-4.5, handling most issues except major blemishes in one go, but this foundation honestly seems suited for those with already good skin and no blemishes. Despite being from the same line as the cushion, the coverage has significantly dropped. ■Longevity/Breakdown/Darkening: It gets sticky, so with powder, it breaks down in an unflattering, clumpy way. Even without powder, it doesn't blend naturally with skin oils. There's nose creasing and it emphasizes dead skin cells. It darkens about half a shade. With powder, there's minimal transfer to masks. If you're sensitive to mineral sunscreens, beware - it has a high content of zinc oxide, which can cause breakouts and messy makeup breakdown for some. If you strongly dislike mineral sunscreens like me, I wouldn't recommend this. ■Value for Money: If you're buying this foundation because you liked the cushion, you might be very disappointed. I can't really recommend it. If you still want to try, please test it offline before purchasing. The formula is different, the color is different and it has a white cast, the coverage is low, and it's not even easy to apply. Maybe YouTuber Lucy's good skin led her to overestimate its coverage... It falls far short of the cushion's reputation, which is disappointing. The review I found most similar to my experience was YouTuber Chaewoo's - I'd suggest referring to that. Also, after using it for two days, my folliculitis and blemishes worsened, so I had to stop using it. Coverage is far inferior to the cushion / Difficult to apply easily / Unflattering breakdown / Emphasizes dead skin cells / Darkens / High zinc oxide content, so avoid if you break out or experience messy makeup breakdown with mineral sunscreens Concealer is a must due to low coverage
