This product was purchased to apply broadly around the lips as the dryness around the lips is severe. Unlike regular lip balms, it has a creamy, thick texture. It can be applied broadly around the lips, and it is non-sticky, which is good. The moisturizing effect is also adequate, so I am satisfied. I'm not really sure. I had a really tough time due to an allergic reaction... The ethanol and alcohol ingredients didn't agree with me, and I suffered terribly from cheilitis. Please check the ingredients carefully before buying. It stung, oozed, scabbed over - it was a nightmare. I spent quite a bit on medical bills. Even though it got a bit better after repeatedly getting steroid ointment prescriptions and taking medication, I really can't recommend this. This is truly my ultimate favorite lip balm ever! When I have a rash on my lips or they're not in the best condition, applying this calms them down within a day or two. I've become someone who simply can't live without this lip balm now. The price and packaging are a bit disappointing. When you've used about half of it, it becomes difficult to squeeze the product out of the tube.
