There's definitely an improvement in symptoms! When applied to itchy areas, there's a slight warming and tingling sensation for about 10 minutes, but it subsides after a while. From that point on, the itchy symptoms disappear periodically. I didn't insert it vaginally, but only applied it to the vulva area and used it with a panty liner while sleeping. The next day, I felt no itching and was comfortable from work until I got home. I also appreciate that it's eco-friendly with bamboo paper packaging, non-wood paper usage, no animal testing, and it's a vegan product. The formula is a sticky, colorless, and odorless gel. I like that they didn't add any separate fragrances.
ConsSince it's not a medication, the duration of effectiveness isn't very long. When used before bed, there's no discomfort until the next afternoon, but itching starts again in the evening. Using it 2-3 times a week doesn't improve itching quickly; you need to use it daily to feel a gradual improvement. I wish they had specified the actual pH instead of just stating it's slightly acidic. Even slightly acidic pH can range from 5.5 to 6.8, so knowing the exact pH would have been much better. The shape makes it seem like it should be inserted vaginally, and some people actually use it that way, but the precautions clearly state to use it only on the vulva and not to insert it vaginally! Also, the precautions mention 'vulva cleanser', while the usage instructions say to use it 2-3 times for regular 'cleansing' care, which can be easily misunderstood as needing to wash it off. It would be better if the usage instructions were more clearly stated. The precautions could also be arranged for better readability.
TipThis seems like a good product to use when you have mild symptoms that don't require using vaginal suppositories.
